Good day all. The Democrats have been beating the drums on Gun Control again. This time they want to ban anyone who’s on one of the government watch lists from being able to buy a gun.
There are a few problems with this. First, there is no real mechanism or process to be removed from one of these lists, such as the “No Fly” list or the “Terrorist Watch List.” In fact, most of the people on these lists don’t know they’re on one until the try to fly somewhere. There is also the problem of accuracy. As I mentioned in a post yesterday, there are a lot of people who should not be listed who are.
The Democrats flat out don’t care about those issues, and as far as they are concerned, Due Process and the 5th Amendment are a problem and should be done away with. This morning, Senator Joe Manchin, (D-WV) announced that he would like anyone who has ever been on one of these lists to be denied their rights for a period of 5 years. I wonder if Manchin and the others have fully considered their idea? Isn’t there a person, currently the Democrat nominee for the Presidency of the United States, being investigated by the FBI for criminal actions?
Oh I’m sure that in Cankles case, this loss of the 2nd and 5th Amendment rights will be waved. After all, she’s one of the “Special People.”
