Good day all. Yesterday the House Democrats, joined by some of their Senate “Colleagues” decided to protest the 2nd and 5th Amendments to the Constitution by staging a “Sit Down Strike.”
The sight of, quite frankly, ignorant geriatrics trying to regain their glory days as college communists, would be laughable if it wasn’t so serious. Many of these fools were instrumental in the civil rights movements of the 1960’s which ended, rightfully, segregation.
In the 40 years since then, these clowns have moved into the government and have shown their true colors as totalitarians who have nothing but contempt for the Constitution of the United States, a document they all swore an oath to uphold and defend.
Not only are they attacking the 2nd Amendment, they are now going after the 5th Amendment. The Democrats have a long and storied history of contempt for the Constitution and the rights of the people. It was the Democrats who wanted to maintain slavery and caused a full blown civil war in order to keep people enslaved.
Since then, they have moved to centralize power in the hands of the few. This started under Woodrow Wilson, but accelerated to supersonic speed under Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It was under Roosevelt that the assaults on the 2nd Amendment began.
In the 1970’s, the current crop of Democrats started running for office. To put it bluntly, unlike previous Democrats, these people were generally more supportive of the Soviet Union then they were of the United States. Although there is no way to prove this, it’s highly likely that many of these people were either “Fellow Travelers” and possibly actually working for the old KGB.
What the current crop all have in common is a total disdain for the Constitution and the Rule of Law. Two weeks ago we had an Islamic Terrorist open fire in a nightclub, killing or wounding 100+ people. The majority of people saw this for what it was, yet another Islamic attack on anyone who wouldn’t bow to Sharia Law. For the Democrats, they saw this as yet another chance to force through blatantly unconstitutional laws.
Unfortunately for them, they don’t control the house and senate any longer. Even with the connivance of several RINO’s, (Kelly Ayotte), they failed in their attempts to ban anyone on the no fly or terrorist watch lists from buying guns. It wasn’t that the Republicans were against the idea, but they, along with anyone who believes in freedom, had serious questions regarding the Due Process part of the 5th Amendment.
The Democrats, in unison, said that as far as they were concerned, the 5th Amendment rights of due process didn’t matter. Even bills proposed by the Republicans that would have stopped people on the watch lists, provided that this was done by a judge with the full due process of law, was unacceptable to these tyrants. All the attempts to “Pass something so we can be seen to care!” thankfully failed. The Democrats answer? They decided to have a sit in protest in the House of Representatives. Dozens of House Democrats staged a sit-in on the House floor Wednesday in protest of the GOP leadership’s refusal to allow a vote on a gun control measure following the Orlando massacre.
Led by Reps. John Lewis (D-Ga.), the civil rights icon, and John Larson (D-Conn.), more than 40 Democrats walked into the chamber just before noon and pledged to “occupy” the House floor until GOP leadership allowed a vote. In one hour, their numbers more than tripled — even as Republicans recessed the House, turning off C-SPAN cameras and the video feed to the public.
One of the excuses these fools use is that only potential terrorists will be put on these lists and be subject to the loss of their Constitutional rights. I gather that this means that Representative John Lewis is a terrorist and should not only loose his 2nd and 5th Amendment rights, he should also be expelled from the House of Representatives.
Yes, John Lewis has found himself on no fly lists and has had a great deal of difficulty in getting his name removed. He isn’t the only member of congress either that’s had issues with these lists. According to Think Progress, three members of Congress have been stopped due to being put on the no fly list.
As mentioned before, Representative John Lewis has been on the list and been stopped from boarding 30-40 times in 2004 alone. Then we have my personal favorite, the late, unlamented Senior Drunkard from Massachusetts, Senator Edward Moore “Dead Ted” Kennedy.
U.S. Sen. Edward M. “Ted” Kennedy said yesterday that he was stopped and questioned at airports on the East Coast five times in March because his name appeared on the government’s secret “no-fly” list. [Federal air security officials] acknowledged being embarrassed that it took the senator and his staff more than three weeks to get his name removed.
Also on the list was Senator Don Young. Republican from Alaska. The Think Progress list was posted in 2004 and referred to the problems these three had in 2004. The list has since grown exponentially and thousands of people are on it, some as young as, well at least one baby was on the list at one time. There are even American Citizens who end up on the list and are unable to return to the United States.
Did this even cross what passes for the minds of these totalitarian scum? Of course not! If some bureaucrat says “I think you’re a terrorist” then stripping people of their rights with no way to to get them back is perfectly fine with them. These…traitors, and yes, I know they don’t meet the constitutional definition, have forgotten history.
We, the people, rebelled against the lawful government of King George III because he to was suppressing the rights of his subjects in the colonies. The final straw came when he, in the guise of his governor, sent British troops into Lexington and Concord to take away the guns and ammunition of the American people. That was when the shot heard around the world was fired.
Thanks Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats and their contempt for all things American, the United States finds itself divided in a way we haven’t seen since the 1850’s. Their willingness to punish anyone who doesn’t bend to their will, strip citizens of their rights and continue centralizing more and more power into the hands of the few has already started causing a reaction. This is why Donald Trump won the Republican nomination.
States have passed laws stripping people of their 2nd Amendment rights and those laws have been outright and publicly ignored. Law enforcement agencies have not tried to move against these people for one, very simple reason. They don’t want to get killed. Attempting to send out, for lack of a better term, storm troopers to crash doors and confiscate guns will be met with violent resistance. Think the inital raid on the Branch Dividians in Waco, Texas and how they shot the BATF raid team to pieces.
If we have the worst case scenario in November, the election of Hillary Clinton to the presidency, along with flipping the Senate and house to the Democrats, you will see them almost immediately move to pass laws ending the right to keep and bear arms. They will put people on the Supreme Court who will ignore the constitution and uphold the ending of the 2nd Amendment by congressional action.
If/when that happens, it will be “Game On” and there will be resistance and it will be violent. Considering the mindset of your average Liberal, that’s just fine with them. It will allow them to end the Republic once an for all and institute the single party totalitarian rule they all desire.
