Good day all. Over the weekend, we had the shooting of a dozen Dallas police officers with 5 killed. This was at the tail end of a Black Lives, (and no one else), Matter protest. The protests were in response to a police shooting in Louisiana.
The killing of the person in Louisiana has a few questions to it, but the man killed was no prize winner and was armed. A proper investigation will determine the facts. The second shooting in Minnesota is looking more like a panicked officer who fired without justification. Again, an investigation will determine the truth. That a video was made within seconds of the shooting will be of great assistance to the investigators.
Then we have Barack Obama. When this moron was elected as “The First Black President,” people though it would help further reduce the so called racial divide in America. Things had been improving for most people, and that include African Americans. We had a ways to go, but things were looking up.
Once in power, Obama and his crowd of racists promptly began undoing decades of work. The nation is divided in ways we haven’t seen since the 60’s and 70’s. Obama? He’s in Warsaw and held a news conference where he said he doesn’t see that much of a problem. Here are the details from CNN:
Frankly acknowledging a “tough week” in the United States after anxious days of shootings and racial tensions, President Barack Obama said Saturday that he did not believe the United States was “as divided as some have suggested.”
“There is sorrow, there is anger, there is confusion about next steps,” Obama said during a news conference in Poland. “But there’s unity in recognizing that this is not how we want our communities to operate. This is not who we want to be as Americans.”
“Americans of all races and all backgrounds are rightly outraged by the inexcusable attacks on police, whether it’s in Dallas or anywhere else,” Obama said. “That includes protesters, that includes family members who have grave concerns about police misconduct, and they’ve said this is unacceptable. There’s no division there.”
Perhaps King Putt might want to review what the rank and file members of Black Lives, (and no one else), Matters have been saying on Twitter and elsewhere. They’re calling for more attacks against the police. Then Der Fubar went after his favorite target, guns and the 2nd Amendment.
And he made another call for tighter restrictions on guns, saying if Americans are concerned about violence against police officers, “you can’t set aside the gun issue and pretend that that’s irrelevant.”
I wonder what his opinion of the bomb factory that criminal in Texas had. Perhaps he was just going to blast some old tree stumps in a field somewhere?
He voiced frustration at the bitter political debate over guns, lamenting that “even mention of it somehow evokes this kind of polarization.”
“When it comes to the issue of gun safety, there is polarization between a very intense minority, and a majority of Americans who actually think that we could be doing better when it comes to gun safety.”
That SCoaMF’s idea of “Gun Safety” is only the government has the guns. He refuses to accept the 2nd Amendment and the fact that more people than ever before are now buying guns and learning how to use them. No, he and the other “Progressives” want to confiscate guns so they can really get going on the whole “Rule by the Elites” thing they so desire.
The fact is, Barack Obama has done horrendous, and quite possibly irreparable damage to American society. Being the megalomaniac that he is, he refuses to consider that he might be wrong and in some way responsible for the mess in the United States as well as the rest of the world. Hopefully, America will choose wisely in November and we will have a new President who is not part of the Establishment.
