Good day all. I hope you enjoyed the Republican Convention. Next week, The Democrat Supreme Soviet will be held in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, we have other things to discuss, such as why this racist piece of trash is still on the University of Michigan staff.
Now your first thought will be some Ku Klux Klown, but this one is a person of recent African decent. What he wants is to take over 5 southern states and create a “New Africa”. Here are the details from the Daily Caller:
University of Michigan political science professor Christian Davenport describes the notion of a new American apartheid featuring a separate black nation as “fairly easy” to accomplish.
“There are large sections of the United States that have nothing but black people in them already,” Davenport told Atlanta Black Star. “There are cults and militias as well as private corporations that do whatever they want behind their closed doors.”
The taxpayer-funded professor claimed that “in New York and Chicago” he observed “that organizations like the Nation of Islam occupy decent-size areas in American cities.”
“The idea of black folk coming together thus does not seem that difficult to me,” Davenport suggested to Atlanta Black Star.
And that vibration you’re feeling is the late Dr. Martin Luther King spinning in his grave.
Davenport also spoke at length about the Republic of New Africa, a militant Black Nationalist movement which originated in 1968. The movement has sought a new, separate country for American blacks because of U.S. slavery. The movement also sought cash reparations of $10,000 for each black American back in 1968 — an amount equal to $69,264 per black person today.
First, the original reparations were 40 acres and a mule. Then, since the 1960’s, we’ve poured trillions of dollars into welfare programs, mostly used by blacks. (Not exclusively of course)
The Republic of New Africa would encompass the current U.S. states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina. The new nation would also geographically cut off Florida from the continental United States.
Yeah, forget for the moment that there is no way the Federal Government is going to just hand over 5 states. (This won’t even be a succession movement), what about the people who are living there now who don’t care to be part of your “New Africa”? Will you protect their rights?
The Republic of New Africa could alternatively concentrate in pockets of America where the U.S. government “can no longer maintain control,” Davenport suggested.
So, no.
“Now, the difficult part becomes arming that nation in an organized fashion and getting recognition from the United States as well as other nations,” the University of Michigan professor told Atlanta Black Star.
Yeah, that’s not going to happen.
Davenport advised black people seeking to foment revolution to “move slow” and “not reveal the plan until it is too late.” “Check members carefully, know that the state is monitoring you, and prepare for the worst,” the public school professor also helpfully suggested.
“The minute you go aggressive and militaristic, you cannot wind the clock back,” Davenport added. “Nation-building is incredibly hard to do and it involves diverse tasks.”
You aren’t talking nation building jerk, you’re are talking treason.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
This moron isn’t the only black racist pushing this bilge either. We have another group that a certain former United States Attorney General took a liking to.
Babu Omowale, who fancies himself a general as well as the minister of defense for the People’s New Black Panther Party — and identifies the United States as “the white supremacist nation,” also spoke to Atlanta Black Star.
“We have to stop wasting our money on cars, tennis shoes and rims,” Omowale, whose real name is Darrin Reed, said. “We need to be land owners, and this is our way to have a nation within a nation,” Omowale added. “The same way we migrated out of the South after slavery, we can migrate back to the South. Let us be land owners.”
And no one has any problem with people owning property. In fact, it’s encouraged. Property owners tend to want to take care of their property to maintain or increase it’s value. However, I don’t think this is what Bobo has in mind.
“We just need to start migrating back to those states and taking control of the economics in those states,” Omowale explained to radio host Aaron Klein last week, according to The Huntsville Times. “If black people move in, most definitely white people will move out. So it’s not a hard process for us to have our own country within a country.”
Actually, that isn’t going to happen, at least people moving out. As for taking control of the economics? Say hello to Detroit. And creating your own little third world nation inside North America? Not going to happen Bobo.
“The main thing is that we want to control the government in these states,” Omowale told Atlanta Black Star.
Well there Sparky, you have a small problem. What you’re selling, pretty much no one is interested in buying. How are you going to “Take control of the government” when no one votes you into office? Or are you going to try and hide yourselves, and then when you have enough people in place, declare your new nation of New Africa? About 12 hours later, the survivors of your little coup will be in chains and under arrest.
The New Black Panthers are taken about as seriously as the Ku Klux Klan. In other words, they’re seen as a potential terrorist group, a fringe group known to violate the civil rights of people and generally a pack of nutjobs and fruitcakes.
While I support Davenports right to be a moron, he has no right to force his beliefs on others on the taxpayer’s dime. We don’t need his type, (Racist, supremacist, scumbag), any more than we need David Duke. The only problem I see getting rid of this racist scumbag is that the University of Michigan may have given him tenure. If so, that will make it far more difficult to be rid of him. At least he should be removed from the classroom.
