Pay for Play at the Clinton State Dept

Good day all. As I wrote yesterday, another batch of emails have come out that indicate that Hillary Clinton was basically selling access to the State Department. Apparently, it’s even worse than I first thought.

Right after I posted that story, I read something that Associated Press had done some serious digging and found even more “bad things” cankled one. Just how bad? Here’s what AP via Yahoo has to say about it:

More than half the people outside the government who met with Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state gave money — either personally or through companies or groups — to the Clinton Foundation. It’s an extraordinary proportion indicating her possible ethics challenges if elected president.

double-facepalm

At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.

Donors who were granted time with Clinton included an internationally known economist who asked for her help as the Bangladesh government pressured him to resign from a nonprofit bank he ran; a Wall Street executive who sought Clinton’s help with a visa problem; and Estee Lauder executives who were listed as meeting with Clinton while her department worked with the firm’s corporate charity to counter gender-based violence in South Africa.

headdesk

Associated press, which is firmly in the tank for Hillary Clinton generally added a caveat to the story.

The meetings between the Democratic presidential nominee and foundation donors do not appear to violate legal agreements Clinton and former president Bill Clinton signed before she joined the State Department in 2009.

Perhaps you aren’t looking hard enough?

The AP’s findings represent the first systematic effort to calculate the scope of the intersecting interests of Clinton Foundation donors and people who met personally with Clinton or spoke to her by phone about their needs.

And for that, I give AP a tip of the hat. They did what Congress, The FBI and the Department of Justice should have done.

Clinton met with representatives of at least 16 foreign governments that donated as much as $170 million to the Clinton charity, but they were not included in AP’s calculations because such meetings would presumably have been part of her diplomatic duties.

eye roll

As you might expect, the Clinton Crime Cartel instantly went on the attack.

“It is outrageous to misrepresent Secretary Clinton’s basis for meeting with these individuals,” spokesman Brian Fallon said. He called it “a distorted portrayal of how often she crossed paths with individuals connected to charitable donations to the Clinton Foundation.”

As the old saying goes, “If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then Hillary Clinton is a crooked duck.” The Clintons are as dirty and corrupt as any Mafia crime family. Like your typical crime family, witnesses against the Clintons have a mysterious habit of having fatal accidents.

Recently, Wikileaks started publishing files and messages hacked out of the DNC. These messages destroyed Representative Debbie Whatshername-Schultz, showing she had rigged the primaries to prevent anyone from beating Cankles. What’s interestingly, someone tried to scale the wall around the Ecuadorian embassy, where Assange has been hiding out avoiding a rape charge. No one was caught, and people are wondering if the Clintons might have arranged for Assange to slip in the shower and break his neck.

Now, the calls for a special prosecutor are starting to appear. Trump, of course called for a prosecutor yesterday, saying the Department of Justice has shown they can’t be trusted to do their job. Of course, the chances of a special prosecutor being appointed prior to the election are below zero. After the election, well, it depends who wins. If it’s Trump, we can wave goodbye to Hillary and Bill Clinton as they spend their sunset years in a federal penitentiary. If Cankles wins, say goodbye to the Republic because she will move to end any potential threat to her reign of error.
