Good day all. As I wrote a while ago, Donald Trump flew into Mexico and met with President Enrique Peña Nieto. I haven’t seen any reports yet on the meeting, but I’m sure we’ll hear all about it shortly.
One thing the visit has accomplished was bringing Hillary Clinton out of her coma and back onto the campaign trail, She was rather upset with Trump upstaging her again flying down to Mexico to see President Pena Nieto and let fly at Trump. Here are some of the details from ABC (Always Back Clinton) News:
Hillary Clinton today used her first public event in nearly a week to bash Donald Trump for “dropping in” on Mexico, saying building relationships takes more than “a photo op.”
“You don’t build a coalition by insulting our friends or acting like a loose cannon. You do it by putting in the slow, hard work of building relationships,” the Democratic presidential nominee and former secretary of state said during remarks at the American Legion’s national convention in Cincinnati, referring to her Republican opponent.
You mean like you did with Russia and your “Reset” button? The one that said “Overcharge”? How little we knew back then, that you had already set your rates for access.
“Getting countries working together was my job every day as your secretary of state. It’s more than a photo op. It takes consistency and reliability. Actually, it’s just like building personal relationships. People have got to know that they can count on you, that you won’t say one thing one day and something totally different the next.
Keep digging Hillary.
“And,” she added, “it certainly takes more than trying to make up for a year of insults and insinuations by dropping in on our neighbors for a few hours and then flying home again. That is not how it works.”
So sayeth one of the most incompetent failures of a Secretary of State in history. Of course, we do have John “Kaptain Ketchup” struggling nightly to surpass you for shear incompetence.
The campaign confirmed that Clinton, too, has received an invitation to meet with Pena Nieto. Clinton, who last met with him in 2014, has yet to accept, but her campaign says she hopes to meet with him soon.
You’re just pissed that once again, Trump has upstaged you. A couple of weeks ago, he went down to Louisiana with a truckload of supplies and spoke with the people who had lost everything in the floods. King Putt finally decided that he should put in an appearance. As for you? Not only didn’t you bother to show up, the “World Famous Clinton Foundation” sent exactly nothing in the way of relief supplies to the state. Pour yourself another Martini and climb back into bed. We’ll call you when the debates start.
