How about the EU ordering the British press not to report on Islamic terrorists? Good day all. Yes, this is exactly what the Euroweenies in Brussels are telling the British press to do. If there is a terrorist incident, (More like when), then the media should not report that Muslims are involved.
The British press is what the American press should be. They cover the entire spectrum politically, from right to left. They don’t have very much in common with each other, but freedom of the press is something they all agree on. To have some over educated, overpaid Eurotrash tyrant in training telling them to suppress a news item won’t sit well with any of them. Here are the details from The Express:
MEDDLING Brussels has said the British press should not report when terrorists are Muslims in a slew of demands to the Government to crack down on the media. A report from the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) found there was an increase in hate speech and racist violence in the UK from 2009 to March 2016.
Oh I find that rich. A “commission” against intolerance being utterly intolerant of free speech.
Blaming the press, ECRI Chair Christian Ahlund, said: “It is no coincidence that racist violence is on the rise in the UK at the same time as we see worrying examples of intolerance and hate speech in the newspapers, online and even among politicians.”
As you would expect, these totalitarians have made “recommendations” to the British government.
The report makes a whopping 23 recommendations to Theresa May’s Government for changes to criminal law, the freedom of the press, crime reporting and equality law.
And despite the report not analysing coverage of the historic Brexit vote, Mr Ahlund saw fit to comment on the UK’s decision to leave the EU.
Oh that vote most have really tied his knickers in a knot. (Knickers. British slang for underwear)
In a sweeping statement, he said: “The Brexit referendum seems to have led to a further rise in ‘anti-foreigner’ sentiment, making it even more important that the British authorities take the steps outlined in our report as a matter of priority.”
Dear dimbulb. You are one of the reasons the British decided to pull out in the first place. And as to your report? Let’s see what stupid ideas you’re alleged to have, shall we?
The report lays into the British press and urges the government to “give more rigorous training” to reporters.
I don’t think the British government has anything to do with training reporters and editors. Even the BBC, which will swallow this reports recommendations and make it their own doesn’t answer to the Crown or the Prime Minister, and only to Parliament in a narrow manner. The newspapers? They see it as their job to rake the political class over the coals. You try and push this on them and they well laugh in your face, then write rude things about you.
In the 83-page report, the Commission said: “ECRI considers that, in light of the fact that Muslims are increasingly under the spotlight as a result of recent ISIS-related terrorist acts around the world, fuelling prejudice against Muslims shows a reckless disregard, not only for the dignity of the great majority of Muslims in the United Kingdom, but also for their safety.
Well, there is the little thing about the goals of Islam. That is to conquer the world and impose Islam on everyone at the point of a sword, or gun as the case may be. And what’s the body count in Europe up to now? I think it’s closing in on 400 dead in the last couple of years, all due to the “Religion of Peace”, (My Ass).
“In this context, it draws attention to a recent study by Teeside University suggesting that where the media stress the Muslim background of perpetrators of terrorist acts, and devote significant coverage to it, the violent backlash against Muslims is likely to be greater than in cases where the perpetrators’ motivation is downplayed or rejected in favour of alternative explanations.”
Alternative explanations? To date, there haven’t been any “alternative explanations”. Why? For the simple reason “Allah Akbar! I Keel You!” has been the one and only reason. I did a quick search on Teeside University and this report. I found the university site and I’ll let you look them up. As to this report, I found what I suspect is just a blurb.
I didn’t see any mention of the reasons people in Britain might be annoyed with Islamic residents. You know, little things like Rotherham rape scandal where, because of political correctness, the city government and law enforcement covered up rape and sex trafficking of girls.
Then there was the London bus bombings in 2005. That killed 52 people and the 4 MUSLIM terrorists. And of course there was that minor incident where a British soldier was hunted down and beheaded in public by another individual who also happened to be a member of the “Religion of Peace”. (My Ass)
Despite the creation of the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) in 2014 as an independent regulator for newspapers and magazines, the “ECRI strongly recommends that the authorities find a way to establish an independent press regulator according to the recommendations set out in the Leveson Report. It recommends more rigorous training for journalists to ensure better compliance with ethical standards.”
In other words, “Instruct your journalists in what we will allow them to write. If they engage in “Badthink” then they should be sent to reeducation camps for remedial training.
Fortunately, the British Government was having none of this.
But as Britain prepares to leave the crumbling bloc, the Government waded in to defend freedom of expression.
In a written statement to the ECRI, the Government said: “The Government is committed to a free and open press and does not interfere with what the press does and does not publish, as long as the press abides by the law.”
In other words, “Dear Mr. Ahlund, Take your Nazi totalitarian ideas regarding the institution of the Ministry of Truth, violently insert them into your anal canal, sit down hard and rotate.”
Prime Minister Theresa May has yet to “pull the trigger” on Brexit. Part of the reason is trying to figure out how to unwind everything. However, with idiots like these generating reports that basically demand the surrender to Islam, which has essentially already occurred in Christian Ahlund’s own country of Sweden, they are making it easier every day for the British Government to pull the switch and begin the process.
