Good day all. Donald Trump hasn’t even been sworn in yet and Trump Derangement Syndrome, (TDS), is rampaging across the Moonbat community.
In the latest occurrence, we have Representative Jim Himes, (D-Conn), lobbying the Electoral Collage to take the election away from Donald Trump. Here are the details from the New York Post:
A Democratic lawmaker is desperately lobbying the Electoral College to shun Donald Trump, and vote for Hillary Clinton — even though he conceded Monday that the Republican won the election “fair and square.”
The plea from Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) comes a week before the Dec. 19 vote, which is expected to affirm the results of the Nov. 8 election, in which Trump beat Clinton with 306 Electoral College votes.
And what is the reasoning, other than he is a flaming moonbat Democrat, for demanding that the electoral college take the election from Donald Trump and give it to Felonia von Pantsuit? In Himes’s own words,
“We’re 5 wks from Inauguration & the President Elect is completely unhinged. The electoral college must do what it was designed for,” Himes wrote Sunday night on Twitter in response to Trump’s gripe that NBC “Nightly News” is “biased, inaccurate and bad, point after point.”
In an interview Monday on CNN’s “New Day,” Himes said that Trump’s refusal to say that the Russians hacked Democrats during the election was what prompted his plea to the Electoral College.
“What finally pushed me over the edge was when the president-elect of the United States criticized the CIA and the intelligence community. Can you imagine what the leaders in Beijing and Moscow and Tehran are thinking as they watch the next president of the United States delegitimize and criticize his own intelligence community and stand up for the defense of Russia, one of our prime adversaries,” said Himes.
Nice choice of words there, “Pushed me over the edge.” Right now, only the CIA is saying that the Russians hacked the Democrats email, and they have yet to provide anything like actual proof. The FBI has said they see no evidence that the Russians were responsible at this time. Julian Assange, of Wikileaks, who released all the email has stated that he didn’t get it from the Russians.
The Democratic rep said the move would result in “an awful lot of litigation,” but that it was the right thing to do under the system that currently exists.
“The Electoral College, if you read the Federalist Papers and understand why it is there, it is a group of people. It is not an algorithm. It is not a set of ballots. It is a group of people that our Founding Fathers, you know, to whom supposedly we all sort of defer to, pledged the idea that if someone gets elected that is manifestly ill equipped to be president … that the Electoral College can step in,” he said.
Himes, typical of all Progressive Democrats suffering from TDS, can’t accept that the Democrats have been utterly rejected by most of the country. Only in the densely populated areas controlled by the Democrats did Clinton do well. Then there is something else this idiot hasn’t considered. What would happen if he got his wish, the Electoral College rejected Donald Trump and gave the election to Hillary Clinton?
The answer is, outright civil war starting within days of the announcement. Felonia would never take the oath of office due to a sudden onset of death. Yes, if the circumstances this idiot is proposing should occur, all the people who supported Donald Trump, and rejoiced at his victory, only to see it stolen by the Democrats, would take their guns out of the closet and remove the Democrats from the United States. However, this scenario won’t happen since the Electoral College is not going to do anything that idiotic. Himes does admit that Trump won fair and square.
Himes, who said the Republican isn’t qualified to be “mayor of a small town in Connecticut,” admitted that “under the rules, President-elect Donald Trump won fair and square.”
Another nice little dig. Say Himes, have you looked at all the cities currently run by Democrats and how well they’re doing? How about Detroit? Chicago? Hey! How about your own state of Connecticut? How well is it doing? Not to well I understand. In any case, what’s Himes’s answer to the Electoral College, especially after they tell him to go pound sand?
But Himes, who wants to abolish the Electoral College, said the only reason it does exist is to prevent someone like Trump from getting into the Oval Office.
No stupid, that isn’t the reason it exists. It was put in place precisely to protect smaller, less populated states from being run down by the large, heavily populated states. If you think things are bad now, consider what would have happened if there had been no Electoral College. Felonia von Pantsuit is alleged to have one the popular vote. However, in the states that were coerced into doing a recount, they started finding some problems, all of them in democrat areas.
They found certified and sealed ballot boxes indicating, in one instance, that it contained over three hundred ballots. When they opened it, they found about 50. There were other rather major discrepancies, and all of a sudden the recount was stopped. Then there is California. Felonia did very well there with the popular vote, or so it seems. There is a strong indication that a number of people voted who were not legally entitled to.
If the Progressives want to abolish the Electoral College, then they are going to have to deal with the consequences. There will have to be rock solid voter ID laws in place, (Something Democrats oppose since it makes it harder fro them to cheat). You will also have to deal with the problem of what happens when just a few counties, due to their high population centers, are the ones who decide for the rest of the country. If you think people in “Flyover Country” are going to accept the usual socialist totalitarian garbage being shoved down the throats of people in the “Blue States”, you have another thing coming.
Donald Trump, as you said, won the election fair and square in spite of the fraud and corruption of the Democrats and their propaganda arm, (CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, NY Times, etc), doing everything they could to rig the election for Felonia. He’s well on his way to repairing the decades of damage done by the Beltway Uniparty. If he pulls it off, then you know that in 2018, the Democrat party is going to be destroyed.
We won, you lost. You don’t like it? Resign and leave the country like all those celebrities promised to do. Oh wait. They’re all still here? They were lying about leaving? I guess we can chalk that up to more Progressive behavior.
