Good day all. I haven’t done a dedicated “Chump of the week” post in a while. Simply due to the huge number of chumps out there. This week, we have a real prize winner, Representative John Lewis, representing the 5th district in Georgia.
John Lewis is one of the more corrupt members of the Progressive Liberal Democrat Party. His main claim to fame was some actions taken back in the 1960’s civil rights movement. That helped him get into office where he’s been nothing more than a Democrat Party uber alles political hack. What has earned him the “Chump of the week award” is his recent statements that he doesn’t consider Donald Trump to be the legitimate president-elect. Here are the details on this numb skull from the Washington Times:
Democratic Rep. John Lewis of Georgia, a longtime civil rights figure, says he doesn’t consider Donald Trump a “legitimate” president because he believes Russia helped him to win the election.
In an interview to air Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Mr. Lewis told host Chuck Todd that he will boycott Mr. Trump’s inauguration next Friday.
“I don’t see this president-elect as a legitimate president,” Mr. Lewis said. “I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected and they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.”
Well now, where to begin? How about Lewis’s refusal to consider that his candidate, Felonia von Pantsuit, was a rotten candidate to begin with, not to mention that she is a crook. But, as we have seen, criminality is almost a requirement to be a senior member of the Progressive Liberal Democrat Party these days.
As to the “Russians helping Trump win” nonsense? It still hasn’t been proven that the Russians were the ones who got into John Podesta’s email. Oh there is no doubt that once the information contained in Podesta’s email came out, the Russians ran with it. As to the DNC’s systems ending up on Wikileaks, the rumors that it was an inside job by a disgruntled Bernie Sanders supporter continue.
If Lewis expected Trump to roll over and take up up the poopchute like normal Republicans when attacked by Progressive Liberal Democrats, then Lewis is even dumber then he looks. (And he looks really stupid) Once President-Elect Trump saw what Lewis had said, he opened fire.
Mr. Trump fired back on Twitter Saturday morning.
“Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results,” Mr. Trump said. “All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!”
The major city in Lewis’s district is Atlanta, Georgia. I will state that I don’t know a lot about his district or how things are doing down there. However, if it’s a Democrat District, it’s probably not in good shape these days. I will let others comment on the situation in the 5th District of Georgia who are more knowledgeable then I. It’s a pity that John Lewis prefers to wallow in his stupidity.
“You cannot be at home with something that you feel that is wrong,” he said. “I think there was a conspiracy on the part of the Russians and others to help him get elected. That’s not right, that’s not fair, that’s not the open democratic process.”
Lewis, who has been infesting his seat in Congress since Ronald Reagan was president, hasn’t had an original thought, other than what he will have for lunch, in decades. He is typical of the Democrats who hold the constitution in utter contempt, think that Socialism is the cat’s meow with regards to economics, and will always, without fail, put the Democrat Party ahead of the nation, the citizens and especially, the rule of law.
If the Russians did get into the DNC and Podesta’s email, and release it to Wikileaks, all they did was provide the transparency that Obama and the Democrats promised America eight long years ago. In other words, whoever gave that data to Wikileaks did the job the Mostly Stupid Media was supposed to do. Now Lewis is pissed because the truth came out and the people he’s been oppressing for decades have decided that they want someone in office who actually cares about the United States, the economy, and won’t sell the office to the highest bidder. Congratulations Representative Lewis, you have earned Anger Central’s “Chump of the Week” award.

Au contraire. There is indeed reason to doubt that Russia had ANYTHING to do with ANYTHING at all.
I don’t think they “took it an ran with it” at all. I actually think that pre-Syria Putin would have preferred the person he knew he could bribe. After that, he probably DID want Trump, but wasn’t stupid enough to actually try to *cause* it. Why? Because he *IS* ex-KGB. He *has* to know just how spectacularly a covert-op will backfire if it becomes un-covert. And he’s not stupid.
Now Putin probably celebrated at least as much as your average sane American did. But that’s probably about the absolute limit of his participation.
