Good day all. I hope those of you in the North East have finished digging yourselves out from the latest bough of Global Warming. Recently, news came out regarding a Georgetown University professor who states that there was nothing wrong with Islamic slavery. He also has no problem with rape either it seems.
Now this may seem to be a bit over the top, but the story has been percolating all weekend. Here are some of the details from Heat Street:
A professor at Georgetown University is teaching his students that men do not need consent to have sex with women, and that slavery is justifiable under Islamic teachings.
Islamic Studies professor Jonathan Brown recently lectured at the International Institute of Islamic Thought, where he shared his alarming beliefs with students in attendance in his lecture, “Islam and the Problem of Slavery.” Freelance writer Umar Lee expressed his shock over the 90-minute lecture, which included explicit endorsements of rape and slavery.
I would say that if an actual Muslim was stunned by what this idiot said, I wonder how others would react? Such as the administration of Georgetown University.
According to Lee, Brown’s lecture was supposed to revolve around slavery in Islam, but the lecturer moved its focus to criticize the United States, United Kingdom and China. Brown described slavery in these non-Muslim societies as brutal, which they were, but lauded the historically inhumane practice in Arab lands and Turkey.
Gee, I wonder if this blithering idiot has bothered to talk with any of the women taken by Boka Harum or ISIS? I would hazard a guess they would disagree with him. Mr. Lee was having none of this manure.
“Indeed, according to Brown, slaves in the Muslim world lived a pretty good life,” wrote Lee. “I thought the Muslim community was done with this dishonest North Korean style of propaganda. Obviously not.”
Professor stupid decided to play “Moral Equivalency” in his lecture, blasting convict labor in the United States.
Brown decried the use of prison labor in the United States and highlighted other problems inherent in Western society, but refused to address the abuse of foreign laborers in the Gulf or the ghastly treatment of prisoners in the Middle East. It was a one-sided lecture that glorified his religion while demonizing Western society.
So this moonbat is a stereotypical hard left anti-American progressive university professor. He’s also clearly incompetent, since he doesn’t bother to mention the actual truth of what happened to slaves in the middle east.
Brown stated that slaves were “protected by Sharia,” omitting the various atrocities committed by slave-owners. Girls and women were forced into the sex trade and their male counterparts were often castrated.
“In general you don’t find the brutality that you see in American slavery,” said Brown, who described the historically common practice as “investments” and “walking venture properties” for slave-owners.
Slavery in the south was not good. Rape did happen, but you didn’t see men being castrated. What you did have was lashing slaves when they wouldn’t obey, (Very bad), and occasionally the cutting off of a foot when they ran away and were caught. (Even worse) I don’t recall anything about castration. In any case, Professor Dumbass doubled down on stupid.
Brown defended slavery, stating, “It’s not immoral for one human to own another human” by comparing it to marriage—a quid pro quo arrangement in which both slave and master benefited from the arrangement.
“I don’t think it’s morally evil to own somebody because we own lots of people all around us and we’re owned by people,” said Brown.
Next, this future member of the Slave owners of America announced that it was fine to commit rape.
A female attendee asked Brown about the permissibility of sex with slaves, to which the professor stated that “Consent isn’t necessary for lawful sex,” and defined consent as a Western concept that emerged with women’s suffrage and female body autonomy. Brown, he said, believes that marital rape was an invalid concept in Islam.
I’m guessing this scumbag isn’t getting a lot of dates. I’m actually surprised that he isn’t in the Land of ISIS buying a few 12 year old girls so he can play doctor with them. I suspect he isn’t to interested in the other part, getting his head blown off by a western sniper.
The sad part about all this? Professor Jonathon Brown is still “teaching” at Georgetown University. If this had been anyone else talking about any other religion, he, or she, would have been kicked out so fast you would have heard a sonic boom. I wonder what the parents of the students think about spending something like $70,000+ for this garbage. I suspect they don’t know.
Now Brown was nice enough to post a video of his “lecture” along with the questions and answers. I suggest you watch it, and do so on an empty stomach and with nothing around that you could use to smash your monitor.

Feel free to contact the administration of Georgetown University and ask them why they are supporting slavery, rape and child molestation. I think we know the answer. This is what Liberals, Progressives and Democrats have always supported.
