Good day all. Since President Trump tweeted out that Trump Towers had been wiretapped, there has been a lot of denials, accusations and demands for proof. Wednesday, (March 22, 2017), the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence announced that he had seen information that was “Troubling” to him.
This set off the Democrats who promptly demanded an investigation into Rep. Devin Nunes regarding his going to President Trump and the Speaker of the House, Eddie Munster Paul Rino Ryan instead of telling them first. (So they could spin it 6 ways from Sunday of course) Now, Representative Nunes has said that hard evidence of the “spying” will be provided, theoretically today. (Friday, March 24th 2017) According to James Rosen, in a story on Fox News:
Republican congressional investigators expect a potential “smoking gun” establishing that the Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team, and possibly the president-elect himself, will be produced to the House Intelligence Committee this week, a source told Fox News.
Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News.
Consider that in many of these cases, what is released by the “Mostly Stupid Media”, is generally from one source, and is anonymous. To have multiple sources, and I guess, prepared to speak to the committee, (No doubt behind closed doors due to the nature of the information along with techniques used), is, as they say, BIG!
The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President Trump accused his predecessor of having wiretapped him in a series of now-infamous tweets posted on March 4.
When President Trump sent out those tweets, he unleashed a firestorm. As usual, the Democrats, RINO’s and NeverTrumpers promptly started bashing Trump. I wonder if it ever crossed their puny minds that as President, Donald Trump now has access to EVERYTHING.
The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.
The key to that conclusion is the unmasking of selected U.S. persons whose names appeared in the intelligence, the sources said, adding that the paper trail leaves no other plausible purpose for the unmasking other than to damage the incoming Trump administration.
Among those who were stunned at Trump’s victory was the Obama court. None of them thought he had a chance and that Felonia von Pantsuit would now be sitting in the Oval Office. When the results were tallied and Felonia was crushed, the Obama regime realized that they were about to be screwed, blued and tattooed by Donald Trump and his people. This would explain why Obama’s people ordered the surveillance on Trump’s transition team. They wanted a heads up on who was going to be in legal jeopardy once Trump got his team in place.
The FBI hasn’t been responsive to the House Intelligence Committee’s request for documents,
Gee, why am I not surprised?
but the National Security Agency is expected to produce documents to the committee by Friday. The NSA document production is expected to produce more intelligence than Nunes has so far seen or described – including what one source described as a potential “smoking gun” establishing the spying.
I can just imagine what the Democrats must be thinking, (If they are actually capable of thought), if this does show that Obama ordered the surveillance on Trump and his team. It will make Watergate look like a high school prank gone wrong.
Some time will be needed to properly assess the materials, with the likely result being that congressional investigators and attorneys won’t have a solid handle on the contents of the documents – and their implications – until next week.
I see a few committee members and staffers having a very busy weekend.
Because Nunes’s intelligence came from multiple sources during a span of several weeks, and he has not shared the actual materials with his committee colleagues, he will be the only member of the panel in a position to know whether the NSA has turned over some or all of the intelligence he is citing.
So, he’s been doing the work that the rest of the committee, *cough* Democrats, didn’t want to do and tried to obstruct?
However, Fox News was told Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., had been briefed on the basic contents of the intelligence described by Nunes.
Adam Schiff is an utter moron. He has a long history of trying to cover up the crimes and incompetence of the Obama regime. When Committee Chairman Nunes came out Wednesday with his remarks, Schiff was right there insulting him accused him of outright lying. Here is the quote from Representative Schiffless from Fox News:
“This afternoon, Chairman Devin Nunes announced he had some form of intercepts revealing that lawfully gathered intelligence on foreign officials included information on U.S. Persons, potentially including those associated with President Trump or the President himself. If accurate, this information should have been shared with members of the committee, but it has not been. …
The Chairman also shared this information with the White House before providing it to the committee, another profound irregularity, given that the matter is currently under investigation. I have expressed my grave concerns with the Chairman that a credible investigation cannot be conducted this way.”
Be careful what you wish for Schiffless, you might just get it….Right in the back of the head, virtually speaking. It will probably be a few weeks before we, The People, get to see the information being provided to Representative Nunes and the rest of the Committee.
However, if the documents prove out what Rep. Nunes has been saying, the Democrats are going to be ducking for cover like cockroaches when the lights are turned on. They might actually get the special prosecutor they’ve been demanding since November 10th, but it won’t be to go after President Trump and his people. No, it will be to go after Barack Obama and his minions.
