Jeff Sessions finally growing a pair?

Good day all. One of the disappointments of President Trump’s administration has been Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Because of his cowardice and desire for the job, he didn’t tell president Trump that he would recuse himself from the fake Russian collusion fiasco.

If he had informed President Trump, he would probably still be in the United States Senate. Sessions also has a major mess to clean up with regards to the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and really hasn’t done what needs to be done. However, he may have finally started growing some testicles.

Last week, I wrote a post regarding the major expose by Politico’s Josh Meyer on how the Obama Regime had basically shut down a major investigation into Hezbollah’s criminal activities and drug smuggling operations. Obama did this in order to curry favor with his masters in Tehran in hopes of getting a phony agreement from them.

Although the Mostly Stupid Media, following the instructions of their masters in the Democrat Party, promptly buried the story, Fox News started talking about it. This led many in Congress to start asking some very pointed questions. (Not the Democrats of course, They are in their usual mode of circling the wagons and jerking off) This has led Attorney General Sessions to get off the pot and actually do his job…for once. He has announced a full review of Project Cassandra and what happened with it. Here are the details from Fox News:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is launching a review of a law enforcement initiative called Project Cassandra after an investigative report was published this week claiming the Obama administration gave a free pass to Hezbollah’s drug-trafficking and money-laundering operations to help ensure the Iran nuclear deal would stay on track.

The Justice Department said in a statement to Fox News that Sessions on Friday directed a review of prior Drug Enforcement Administration investigations “to evaluate allegations that certain matters were not properly prosecuted and to ensure all matters are appropriately handled.”

While I am hopeful that there were no barriers constructed by the last administration to allowing DEA agents to fully bring all appropriate cases under Project Cassandra, this is a significant issue for the protection of Americans,” Sessions said in a written statement. “We will review these matters and give full support to investigations of violent drug trafficking organizations.”

Considering the information that has come out on how the Obama Regime conducted business over the last few years, and the willingness to do whatever the Iranians wanted, I think it will be safe to say that there was interference from the highest levels. The question will be, does Sessions have the balls to do something with the information, or will he chicken out…again?

According to a bombshell exposé in Politico on Sunday, (December 17th 2017), an elaborate campaign led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, known as Project Cassandra, targeted the Lebanese militant group’s criminal activities. But when Project Cassandra leaders, who were working out of a DEA facility in Chantilly, Virginia, sought approval for some significant investigations, prosecutions, arrests and financial sanctions, Obama Justice and Treasury Department officials delayed, hindered or rejected their requests, according to Politico.

Protecting our citizens from terrorist organizations and combating the devastating drug crisis gripping our nation are two of the Justice Department’s top priorities,” Sessions said. “Operations designed to investigate and prosecute terrorist organizations that are also fueling that drug crisis must be paramount in this administration.”

And they are, at least with the administration that started Project Cassandra, (The Bush II administration), and the current administration, (the Trump Administration). The Obama Administration? Not so much, or at all.

DOJ officials told Fox News the review could lead to new prosecutions of people affiliated with Hezbollah. It could also lead to an Inspector General investigation of personnel matters relating to the project.

How about the elephant in the room Jeffy? There is little doubt that the “Kill order” regarding Project Cassandra had to come from high up in the White House. At the very least, Obama’s controller, Valarie Jarrett had to be involved, along with, potentially, Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch. If this is proven out, and the evidence is conclusive, are you going to do the right thing and prosecute them, or are you going to be yet another swamp dwelling Uniparty wimp?

Since the report surfaced, a number of Republican lawmakers have demanded answers about the allegations. Meanwhile, former Obama administration officials have broadly dismissed the allegations as false.

And, as we have long since learned from painful experience. Anything coming out from former Obama officials is nothing more then a steaming pile of horse shit. They have been caught repeatedly lying about everything, be it Benghazi, Operation Fast and Furious and now Project Cassandra.

There are many reasonable critiques of Obama’s foreign policy,” former Obama official Tommy Vietor tweeted. “The idea that he was soft on Hezbollah is not one of them. The story is so manufactured out of thin air that it’s hard to push back except to say that it’s a figment of the imagination of two very flawed sources.”

I did a little research on this Vietor person. He’s nothing more then a professional liar for the Obama regime. The fact that he doesn’t refute anything in the Politico story should tell you all you need to know. Saying that it was a manufactured story? Unlike the crap coming out of CNN, and the other networks, (Excluding Fox generally), this story has on the record, named sources and piles of actual documents, all available for anyone to look at. Now I wonder, is it possible that Little Tommy Vietor might find himself talking to a grand jury in the future?

Now as for Attorney General Sessions, this is the chance he needs to redeem himself. He needs to determine if there was something to the Politico story, and if there was, (And I don’t mean some phony dossier paid for by the Felonia von Pantsuit for Tyrant committee), then he will need to start a full blown criminal investigation. If it leads to direct orders to blow up Project Cassandra issued by Barack Obama, then we need to know about it. I don’t know if he could be prosecuted, but we can certainly take down all his advisers as well as John “Ketchup Bo”y Kerry.

I have no doubt that sessions will carefully fumble the ball, again, on this one.
