Remember George Will?

Good day all. It’s been a few years since I, or pretty much anyone else paid any attention to the allegedly conservative columnist, George Will. The last time was during the election when Donald Trump became the GOP nominee. Will threw a hissy fit and quit the Republican party.

George Will soon lost his commentator gig on Fox as it became clear he would have preferred the utterly corrupt Felonia von Pantsuit as president. Soon after, he sank into well deserved obscurity, screeching like a harpy in his column in the Washington ComPost.

Like pretty much all of the current and former GOP(e), George Will ended up being ignored. He and the other Never Tumpers have been pushed to the side and rendered irrelevant and it has driven them even further into insanity. Now, Will has published another column stating that the Republicans MUST lose control of Congress. Since his column is paywalled by the ComPost, here are the details I’ve got from The Hill:

Conservative columnist George Will is making the argument to vote against Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections.

In a piece published Friday in the Washington Post, Will says that President Trump‘s “zero tolerance” policy at the border was “the most telegenic example of misrule” and it provided “fresh if redundant evidence for the principle by which” independents and moderate Republicans should vote. That principle he says is that the number of Republicans in office must be “substantially reduced.”

“The principle: The congressional Republican caucuses must be substantially reduced. So substantially that their remnants, reduced to minorities, will be stripped of the Constitution’s Article I powers that they have been too invertebrate to use against the current wielder of Article II powers,” Will wrote. “They will then have leisure time to wonder why they worked so hard to achieve membership in a legislature whose unexercised muscles have atrophied because of people like them.”

George Will is a longtime member of the Beltway Uniparty, He believes in open borders, useless wars, crony capitalism and the power of the state over the rights of the individual. He is what is called, prior to his showing his true colors as a CommuNazi, a RINO. A RINO is short for Republican in Name Only, and most of them are nothing more then Liberals. Of course, Will is nothing if not an arrogant twit who is quick to turn on anyone who doesn’t agree with him…Much like your average liberal.

Will targets House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and many other Republican lawmakers for serving as the “president’s poodles.”

“Not because James Madison’s system has failed but because today’s abject careerists have failed to be worthy of it,” Will added. “Congressional Republicans (congressional Democrats are equally supine toward Democratic presidents) have no higher ambition than to placate this president.”

Will seems to have forgotten the role Ryan played just before the election in trying to shaft then candidate Trump with that video of Trump speaking “Truth to Locker room” in what he thought was a private conversation 10 years earlier. Ryan tried to get Trump thrown off the ticket in favor of a GOP(e) RINO. It would have handed the election to Felonia von Pantsuit on a platter.

Of course, that was always the goal of Ryan and Will. They thought that 4 years of Felonia was better than 4 years of Trump. As we’ve seen in the last two years, America dodged a bullet when Donald Trump won. If Felonia had won, the odds are the United States would be in the throws of a full blown civil war. Of course, Will and the others in the Uniparty don’t consider that a problem.

Will continued that the failure of Congress to respond in productive ways to the president has impaired the Constitution’s separation of powers.

“The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of Republican control.”

Perhaps George Will should remove his head from his ass and look around. President Donald Trump has been using the powers Congress gave away over the decades, and when Congress complained, he would throw it in their faces and tell them to do their jobs. This is a far cry from the dictatorial actions of President Pen & Phone.

George Will used to be someone I read and admired. However, as I learned more things and saw just how wrong headed Will and the other “Neocons” were, I started looking for someone who supported my views. I once was a Republican as well. I voted for Ronald Reagan 4 times. (Two primaries and two general elections) I voted for George H.W. Bush thinking he would maintain and improve on Reagan’s work. Instead I got “Read my lips, No New Taxes!” followed by the largest, to that date, tax increase in American history.

That’s when I left the GOP and I’ve been an independent, (or unenrolled), voter ever since. However, I still tend to vote Republican as the lesser of two evils. However, it wasn’t until Donald Trump ran that I actually had someone to vote for. George Will is nothing more than an elitist squishy bow tie wearing deep state uniparty bum kisser. No one of any importance is paying any attention to him any longer and he knows it.
