Good day all. Thanks to the safely dead John McSlime, Americans are still stuck with that disaster known as Obamacare. President Trump has been doing all he can within the powers of his office to gut that mess, but he is limited to what is allowed by the Constitution and the law. (Unlike his predecessor, President Pen and Phone)
However, thanks to the exploding Trump economy, (With no thanks to the GOP(e) and the CommuNazis), People are walking away from that pile of manure known as Obamacare and getting their insurance through their places of employment. This dpesn’t bode well for Obamacare. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
The number of people signing up for Obamacare for 2019 has declined significantly following President Trump’s two-year effort to curb the federal policy. There has been a 13 percent drop in a number of sign-ups for Obamacare coverage between Nov. 1 and Nov. 24 – the halfway of the sign-up season for 2019 – according to data released Wednesday by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The figures are surprising experts, according to Politico, who believed the number of people signing up on Obamacare marketplaces will remain steady, even as Republicans abolish the deeply unpopular individual mandate fines for being uninsured.
These “Experts” are the same clueless totalitarian idiots that shoved this hated pile of crap down our throats in the first place. The whole untalked about premise of Obamacare was to shovel money from the American people into the coffers of the Government and a few dribbles into the bank accounts of the Insurance companies. It was never about providing health insurance to people who couldn’t afford it.
The cheapest plans have such high deductibles that, for all intents and purposes, you don’t have any insurance. As for the early boosters from the Insurance industry, who saw the Obamacare mandates as a giant vacuum into the wallets of Americans, well, they found out after Obamacare kicked in what they were going to get. The polite term is shafted.
The deadline for enrolling in Obamacare coverage for 2019 is Dec. 15, yet most people aren’t aware that it’s the enrollment season. Only 1 in 4 Americans are aware of the deadline, Politico reported, citing the latest polling data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
I will also add myself to the list of “Not aware.” I’m also on the list of “Don’t give a damn either.” Granted, the Trump administration is not doing anything to advertise these dates, however, many people who were on Obamacrap couldn’t wait to go with other alternatives.
Just a quarter of those who responded to the poll said they saw the ads and explainers how to enroll in the coverage. By comparison, over half of respondents to a similar survey said they saw such ads during the first Obamacare sign up in 2013.
You couldn’t avoid the ads back in 2013. You had Obama’s minions looting the treasury to buy ads, and you had their propagandists in the media also boosting the signal.
The Trump administration is reportedly not focusing on increasing the sign-ups and devoted less money to other groups to promote it.
“This is affordable coverage that people need and want, but the reality is that the administration’s sabotaged open enrollment,” Leslie Dach, chair of Protect Our Care, a pro-Obamacare advocacy group, told the outlet.
The one thing Obamacare never was, was affordable. As I mentioned above, the cheapest “plan” under Obamacare has something like a $10-$12,000 dollar deductible before it pays one cent to medical bills. How many people can eat that high a bill each year? If they were buying the low end insurance, instead of the “Gold plated” plans, (Or private insurance before it was all but outlawed by the CommuNazis), then they probably couldn’t afford the deductibles.
He said the reductions in funding for outreach damaged the enrollment numbers, with the groups mostly focusing on re-enrolling people rather than finding new customers. “The American people simply don’t know about the deadline and they’re not fully aware of how affordable health care is for them,” he said.
But some people may skip Obamacare markets thanks to the booming economy that led to more employers offering employer-provided coverage. The Trump administration has also pushed for scaled-down insurance plans that can be cheaper than the ones found on Obamacare exchanges.
People are buying plans that are cheaper and better then what is offered under Obamacrap? And that’s only if they can’t get insurance through their employers, now that they’ve been able to find jobs? (No thanks to the CommuNazis) Why that is Impossible!
Yet some states may be able to buck the trend and provide coverage to as many people as previous years. The State of California is spending 10 times more than the whole federal government – $100 million – on enrolling people in state-based marketplace, according to Politico.
And here is another reason the People’s Democratic Republik of Kalifornistan is going bankrupt. The CommuNazis that have run the state into the ground are betting that the Federal Government will bail them out. They’re also looking at providing Obamacare to illegal aliens, further driving the state into economic collapse. As the old saying goes, with regards to Kalifornistan’s legislature, “You can’t fix Stupid. All you can do is take it out behind the barn and Old Yeller it.”
Now that the CommuNazis have taken control of the House, any plans to scrap Obamacare are probably dead for the next 2 years. The CommuNazis will defend that totalitarian power grab to their dying days. Of course, they have the problem that President Trump wants it gone, The American People want it gone and now that John McSlime is rotting in the ground, the Senate will do nothing to help the CommuNazis in the house to keep Obamacare afloat. It’s going to be an interesting 2 years…sadly.
