Good day all. As you know, the Government has partially shut down due to funding, or the lack there of, for the security wall along the border with Mexico. The Democrats and their fellow travelers in the RINO wing of the Beltway Uniparty will not all the Trump Wall to be built. Enter GoFundMe.
A wound veteran has started a GoFundMe account to fund the building of the Trump Wall. As of the writing of this post, the fund has been operational and collecting donations for 6 days. Currently, it has raised almost $16 million dollars.
The veteran, Brian Kolfage, was badly wounded in 2004 and lost his right arm and both legs. This hasn’t slowed the man down one bit. Here are the details from the Chicago Tribune:
An online fundraiser started by an Air Force veteran to pay for construction of President Donald Trump‘s U.S.-Mexico border wall was up to millions of dollars Thursday, bringing further attention to an issue that could lead to a government shutdown. (Note, this story was written prior to the shutdown. A/W) Brian Kolfage launched the GoFundMe page Sunday, and it has since generated $6 million in donations. The site states a fundraising goal of $1 billion.
In a statement posted on the crowdsourcing page, Kolfage says the wall could be built if everyone who voted for Trump pledged $80 each.
“As a veteran who has given so much, three limbs, I feel deeply invested to this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today,” Kolfage wrote.
As you might expect, Mr. Kolfage’s good deed isn’t going unnoticed by the forces of Evil.
Kolfage’s page inspired at least one opposing fundraising page. A GoFundMe fundraiser was created Wednesday to raise money for “ladders to get over Trump’s wall.” The site posted a goal of $100 million and garnered more than $20,000 in donations as of Thursday afternoon. All the money will go toward a nonprofit that provides education and legal services to refugees and immigrant families.
And not one of those “Immigrants” will have come into the United States legally no doubt. I don’t expect that clown to even get the $20K already pledged. Progressives are notoriously tightfisted when it comes to putting their own money where their big mouths are, unlike Trump supporters. If you support defending this country and have had it with the sum and villains in Congress sticking it to the American People, then please donate a few dollars to the cause.
