Good day all. Now that Associate Justice Bret Kavanaugh, (Nope, still not tired of saying that), is on the Supreme Court, his seat in the lower court needs to be filled. President Trump has put forward Neomi Rao, and right on schedule, the Bigots, racists and haters from the Senate Democrats are getting ready to smear her.
The Democrats, or as I prefer to call them, The Communist/Nazis or CommuNazis, are seeing their dreams of absolute control of the courts, with their attendant plan of scrapping the Constitutional rights of Americans, rapidly going down the drain.
With the 2018 midterms both increasing the number of Republicans and flushing the RINO’s out, (I’m looking at you Jeff Flake), President Trump has been working hard at putting actual Constitutionalists into the courts. These are men and women who believe that the constitution means what it says, and says what it means. They do not make things up that are not in the Constitution.
Since this is not how the CommuNazis want things to go, they will pull out all the stops to “Stop Trump!!” Neomi Rao is now locked into their gun sights. (Or would be if the CommuNazis believed in the 2nd Amendment) Here are the details from the Washington Times. (Now paywalling stories)
Liberal activists on Friday blasted an Asian woman President Trump has nominated to a high-profile appeals court, saying that while she might be a step for diversity on the bench, she wouldn’t protect minorities in her rulings. The activists have made it a top priority to try to derail Neomi J. Rao, who has been picked to fill the seat left vacant on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia when Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh left to join the Supreme Court.
Well, this should be interesting. I wonder what lies they will bring forth this time? As we saw with the Kavanaugh hearings, the CommuNazis will flat out lie to get what they want. Thankfully, President Trump is made of stern stuff and backed Justice Kavanaugh.
“She is not the role model we need for our community and certainly not the one I want for my daughter,” said Shiwali Patel, senior counsel at National Women’s Law Center and also a South Asian woman.
In other words, she won’t give people special rights over other people? Great! I think it’s about time we end this nonsense that some people, (Liberals and “Protected classes), are more important than everyone else. In the eyes of the law and the Constitution, we are all the same and all have the same God given rights.
Ms. Rao, who works in the White House budget office, came under scrutiny after several news outlets reported this month about college writings in which she defended white men, suggested intoxicated women are partly to blame for sexual assaults and said LGBTQ issues were “trendy” political movements.
“These kind of comments deter survivors from speaking out,” Ms. Patel said.
You mean the “survivors” who came forth during the Kavanaugh hearings and are now looking at potential indictment for perjury, and interfering with a Congressional hearing? Those types of “Survivors? As for drunken women who end up in bed with someone, the answer to that is “Stay sober stupid!”
Now I have no problem taking an actual rapist out and hanging them by their testicles. A woman who is “Rufie’d” or has passed out drunk can not make any decisions at all. However, this is different from one who is looking through beer googles and stupidly decides for a roll in the hay.
Activists also complained about her work for the Trump administration, saying her role in cutting regulations means she’s too pro-business.
Oh No! We can’t have that! We all know that making Americans poor and jobless is a far better way to go then letting businesses expand and hire people.
Dan Goldberg, legal director at Alliance for Justice, said Ms. Rao once mocked environmental protectionism by calling it “eco-insanity.” He said her current record shows she is still tied to the views she held as a college student.
“Rao’s views have not matured — she has not evolved,” he said. “She is the same person who wrote harsh, narrow-minded things in her 20s,” he said.
Oh I love that line, her views have not “Matured.” In other words, she hasn’t become an unthinking Progressive Moonbat and member of the Church of Global Warming, Algor be Praised! How about you go suck start a shotgun CommuNazi? (I’m not going to hold back my contempt for these Marxist scum) Meanwhile, the adults have something to add to the conversation.
But Carrie Severino, chief counsel for the conservative Judicial Crisis Network, has defended Ms. Rao’s record, calling the attacks “absurd” and adding she’s extremely qualified for the federal judgeship.
“She’s an accomplished professional lawyer who has served in two administrations at high levels, she’s been an assistant professor of law and she clerked for Justice [Clarence] Thomas at the Supreme Court. Further, she is a national expert on administrative law and that’s the most important part of the D.C. Circuit docket, so her qualifications are unparalleled,” Ms. Severino said.
Sadly, everything that Ms. Severino just said is points against the future Judge Rao, at least in the eyes of the Moonbat community. However, with the Republicans now firmly in control of the Senate, and the RINO’s being told to do as their told or leave, I’d say that Ms. Rao is going to be confirmed. Now for the openings on the 9th Circus. That should be fun to watch.
