Good day all. A few weeks ago, an actor on a TV show who happens to be black and gay filed a police report claiming he had been attacked by Trump supporters wearing MAGA hats.
When I first heard about this, I thought it sounded rather fishy, and held back writing anything until all the facts were known. Then came the news that the Chicago Police had changed the investigation and that Smollett was now the one being investigated for filing a false police report. At that point I decided the time had come to write something.
Well, the investigation has concluded and Jussie Smollett has been arrested and charged. What is amusing is just how fast all the rantings, ravings and threats from the Progressives in Congress as well as the CommuNazi Ministry of Propaganda have flushed Smollett down the memory hole.
Two weeks ago, the bigots, racists and haters Progressives were screaming that this was all President Trumps fault, and that anyone who supports Trump and his agenda were evil and should be attacked. This was exactly the same garbage pushed after the high school students from Covington were accused of being racists, bigots and Trump supporters when one of them was spotted wearing a MAGA hat. Why they even had video of it.
It turned out that the video had been seriously edited. When the raw footage was released, it should exactly the opposite of what the Progressives were saying. The Covington students had been just standing there waiting for a bus when they were assaulted by a bunch of Black racists and other assorted moonbats.
Prior to the full video being released, the usual suspects were demanding that these kids be killed. (There were a number of threats against them and the school) One of the problems with the full video, was Faceplant and YouTube declaring it “Hate speech” and pulling it down, yet leaving the edited version up.
Now those kids are starting to fight back and have filed a massive lawsuit against the Washington Post. I suspect there will be a number of other suits being brought in the next few months. The CommuNazi Propaganda Corps, formally known as the Main Stream Media, is demanding the suits be dropped under the Sullivan decision.
The chances of that happening are actually low since the students are not public figures and were dragged into the limelight. There is also a good chance that the decision may be reversed or rewritten since it basically allows the media to lie with impunity about famous people. This differs from making an honest error. An honest news company, once new facts came out, would correct the record and apologize. The Washington ComPost and others in the Propaganda Corps are doubling down instead.
Sadly, it will be very hard to bring the Progressives to justice in the Smollett case. They went after entire groups of people, not individuals. Also, a number of the CommuNazi Progressives in Congress made their threats from the floor of the House and Senate and are protected from lawsuits. (We should bring back dueling)
As for Smollett? He is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. While he is looking at 3 years in prison if convicted in Illinois, he is also facing potential charges at the Federal level. The FBI, taking some time off from their attempts to “Get Trump!” were called in on this case and a previous case. If Smollett is charged at the federal level, and convicted, he’s looking at serious prison time.
This is what happens when you are a Progressive. You are so delusional and full of hate that any rational thought goes straight out the window. You literally think you can do whatever you want to people you don’t agree with or like and nothing will happen to you. Well, guess again. Progressives might indict groups, but the Law and the Constitution holds individuals responsible for their actions, as Jussie Smollett is now finding out.
