Good day all. Since the announcement of Alexandria Occasional-Cortex’s Green New Deal, and just how devastating it would be to the United States, reporters and journalists have been asking members of congress questions about it.
Since the GND is nothing more than a plan to enslave Americans and end the United States, many of the Democrat members of the House and Senate who still have a survival instinct really don’t want to talk about it. Then there is the acquitted felon, Senator Robert Menendez. When pressed by a reporter on the GND, he threatened to have that reporter arrested. Here are the details from Fox News:
U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., had a fiery exchange with a reporter on Capitol Hill on Wednesday when asked to comment on the Green New Deal. Henry Rodgers, the Daily Caller’s Capitol Hill reporter, approached the senator at a subway station and asked him if he supported Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s legislative proposal.
Menendez avoided the question and asked where Rodgers worked. Rodgers said that when he told Menendez he worked for the Daily Caller, the Democrat responded by saying he would not answer any questions. An intern who was with Rodgers asked a follow-up question, and tensions apparently rose.
“I am wondering why you won’t answer questions on the Green New Deal?” Rodgers asked.
“I won’t answer questions to the Daily Caller, period! You’re trash,” Menendez responded.
“Why do you think we’re trash, sir?” the reporter followed.
“Don’t keep harassing me anymore or I’ll race to the Capitol Police,” the New Jersey Democrat threatened.
Nice going stupid. Of course, this is Menendez, who recently won a photo finish race with a federal jury. He ended up on trial for several reasons, (Including going against Obama), and his elitist arrogance didn’t help matters. He also forgot that everyone now has a video camera, and now he’s being ripped up one side and down the other. However, instead of trying to walk this back, the CommuNazi from New Jersey doubled down.
Numerous members of Menendez’s office, including his communications director, Tricia Enright, defended the senator and trashed what one described as “gotcha journalism.”

I will state that until this story, I’d never heard of Julio Rosas. Still, his reply was typical of the responses to Menendez’s threats. This is the problem with long term office holders in general. They think that they should always be deferred to by the Main Stream Media, and, at least for the Democrats, they generally are.
When you have a reporter who is not one of the slobbering sycophants of the Democrat Propaganda Corps show up and start asking tough questions, your typical Democrat is going to have a Pelosi like brain freeze and then turn and snap at the “Upstart.” Republicans generally are used to and expect to have a hostile press and generally know how to deal with it. (Throw them into confusion with actual facts. It’s like sunlight to a vampire)
Sadly, Menendez basically owns his seat in the Senate for as long as he wants it. New Jersey is populated by the type of people Democrats so love. Stupid, mind numbed automatons who have been programmed to always vote for the Democrats. Still, the rest of Flyover country does need to see how people like Menendez threaten reporters for doing their jobs. This is what the Democrats have planned for everyone else.
