Good day all. The fallout from the Mueller Report continues and it seems that the cable networks that were pushing all the fake news and screeching to the high heavens that “President Trump was going down!” are actually seeing their ratings collapsing instead.
One of the biggest losers has been Rachael “Radical Madcow” Maddow on MSNBC. She has been building her show on the “We’re going to get Trump when the Mueller Report comes out!” meme for 2 years. Now that Mueller’s report has come out, and been shown to be a gigantic nothingburger, all of Madcow’s viewers are tuning out the shrieking harpy. Here are the amusing details from Fox News:
MSNBC’s biggest star, Rachel Maddow, has been flailing in viewership since Special Counsel Robert Mueller officially concluded his investigation into the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.
And here we see the problem. Radical Madcow and the bozos at the Fake News Network, CNN, were expecting to see President Trump impeached, removed from offices, tried and executed, and Felonia von Pantsuit being put into the White House as the rightful ruler. They were never prepared for the reality that the whole thing was a load of crap.
Maddow had seen a rating surge since President Trump took office, offering extensive coverage on the Russia investigation for the past two years. However, her viewership has taken a dive since Mueller handed his report to the Department of Justice last Friday. The report, according to a letter to Congress released on Sunday by Attorney General Bill Barr, concluded that there was no collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
“The Rachel Maddow Show” saw an average 13 percent decrease in viewership comparing her ratings Monday through Wednesday this week versus last week — Maddow lost nearly a whopping 500,000 viewers on Monday’s show following the release of Barr’s letter compared to her previous Monday show. She also saw a 15 percent decrease in the 25-52 demo audience.
The MSNBC primetime lineup suffered as a whole this week, averaging 2.46 million viewers versus the 2.83 million from last week.
President Trump couldn’t resist sticking a thumb in their collectivist eyes, and who can blame him? He fired up his fully automatic Tweet-16 and opened fire.
“Wow, ratings for ‘Morning Joe,’ which were really bad in the first place, just ‘tanked’ with the release of the Mueller report. Likewise, other shows on MSNBC and CNN have gone down by as much as 50%. Just shows, Fake News never wins!” Trump tweeted.
Meanwhile, the hated enemy of Progressives everywhere, Fox News, has been doing nothing but climbing in the ratings.
Meanwhile, Fox News Channel has seen a substantial ratings increase since the findings of the Mueller report were publicized. “Hannity” received over 4 million viewers on Monday, which was more than 1 million additional viewers than the previous Monday. FNC’s other primetime hosts, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham, have also benefited since the Mueller report was issued, averaging a 25 percent increase in viewership during primetime this week. They averaged 3.58 million viewers versus last week’s average of 2.72 million viewers.
There is a reason Fox has been destroying the networks, both cable and over the air. First, they tell you where they stand. Second, they bring on people with opposing views. They might question them harshly, but they allow them to say their, generally wrong headed, piece. Third, they work very hard at being as accurate as they can, and when they make a mistake, they own up to it and move to correct it.
The other networks? It isn’t “Not so much,” as “What, are you kidding? Admit we were wrong? NEVER!”
Not only are they not making any corrections based on new information, they are doubling down on their stupidity. CNN is refusing to accept that it wasn’t President Trump who was colluding with the Russians, it was their very own, sainted, Felonia von Pantsuit who was not only colluding with the Russians, but was also taking bribes from them.
Now people are staring to ask questions, primarily, “Why they Hell should I waste my time watching you when you’ve been dead wrong about everything?” Instead of tuning in to the likes of Radical Madcow, people are voting with their clickers and watching Game of Thrones reruns. I wonder how long it will be before some of these people are taken off the air for non-performance?
