Good day all. There was a tragic event in a Colorado school a couple of weeks ago. A pair of loons walked in and started shooting. One student died when he jumped one of the criminals and tried to take the gun away.
The police quickly arrived on scene, and showing that they weren’t like the Cowards of Broward, immediately charged into the building and quickly captured the criminals. As is the usual way of things, sadly, a memorial was held for the student who was murdered defending his classmates.
What was unexpected was the anger shown towards several of the speakers. Why were people angry? Because this went from a memorial to a gun control rally almost instantly. Here are the details from Fox News:
The very public scene of hundreds of Colorado students and their parents walking out of a vigil that was turned into political theater by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence was so embarrassing that the gun control group actually issued an apology.
Before leaving the Wednesday night event, students shouted, in front of journalists who the Brady Campaign invited: “this is not for us,” “political stunt” and “we are people, not a statement.”
What did you expect from the Brady Campaign to End the 2nd Amendment and institute a totalitarian government? Honesty?
The Brady Campaign had portrayed the event as a vigil in memory of Kendrick Castillo, a student hero who died from gunshot wounds after he and two other students charged one of the attackers Tuesday at the Highlands Ranch STEM School in Colorado.
While the loss of young Mr. Castillo is tragic, he and the other two demonstrated what “Toxic Masculinity” is actually used for. Going after scumbag murderers. His young life was tragically cut way to short, but he died as a Ram, not a sheep. Compare that with the Cowards of Broward county in Florida where they hid outside instead of charging in, as the local police did in this instance and where the victims decided not to be victimized.
Eight other students were injured in the shooting. Two students were arrested and accused of the attack.
An interesting side note on the two criminals. One is an 18 year old male nutcase and the other is a 16 year old girl who “Identifies as a male”. In other words, another prize winner in the Progressive war on normality. (She could be trying for an insanity defense, but I don’t think that’s going to work)
Instead of putting together an event to bring people together to mourn, the gun control group brought in activists and Colorado politicians – Democratic presidential contender U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet and Democratic U.S. Rep. Jason Crow – to push a one-sided political agenda.
The speakers said they weren’t there to just offer thoughts and prayers, but that they instead were there to push for more restrictions on the right to bear arms.
We saw this with events after the shooting at Parkland High School in Florida. T events, including a CNN town hall, weren’t open forums or vigils. They were orchestrated propaganda designed to push a political cause.
And you expected better? These are Progressives. Their answer to everything is gun confiscation. They love to wave the bloody shirt. What they can’t handle is when people get tired of their games and go after them. This was the final straw for some people, especially considering past history of the Corrupt News Network’s antics.
The CNN event even featured then-Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel. He vociferously stuck to the gun control narrative. He should have known – and we would all soon find out – that a school resource officer stayed outside during the attack. President Trump later called the officer a “coward.”
The Broward county sheriff’s department is in the process of a thorough fumigation. The sheriff has been removed from his position and the cowards are being run out on a rail. Now, people have had enough and as this last event has shown, aren’t going to put up with it any longer.
The Left wants guns removed from the hands of citizens so they can create their own version of the paradise that is Venezuela. They will do anything, tell any lie and instead of helping deal with problems before they happen, will do all they can to enable them. Standing on the grave of a brave young man who, instead of cowering like a Borward County deputy, instead emulated another man who went down fighting, and perhaps saved hundreds or even thousands of lives. That would be Todd Beamer and the other passengers of United Airlines flight 93 on September 11, 2001.
