When you find yourself in one, STOP DIGGING! Good day all. Justin Amash is a Representative from Michigan, at least for now. He recently came out saying that President Trump should be impeached. What was surprising is the fact that he’s a Republican.
I wrote about his transition from Republican to soon to be voted out of office Never Trumper a few weeks ago, when he came out of the closet and showed that he was a fraud and a lackey of the Chinese government. Now he’s joined the CommuNazis demanding that President Trump get HIS permission before blowing the snot out of the Iranians. Here are the details from Fox News:
Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., joined Democrats on Friday in calling on President Trump to seek Congressional approval for military action against Iran. His comments came after the president called off a military strike against Iran — an offense operation that Amash indicated should have undergone congressional review. “Glad the president pulled back from striking Iran but still waiting on the administration to make its case to Congress,” he tweeted on Friday.
“Offensive military action requires congressional approval, and we can’t assess the situation without more information. Once strikes begin, the administration cannot guarantee things will not spiral out of control. We must do everything possible to prevent another reckless war.”
Well, a few things. First, what was originally on the table was the removal of a few surface to air missile sites and the crews running them. Second, there was no plans to send in ground forces or continue on with the assault. Third, Dumbass Amash should try reading the War Powers Act. While no president has ever formally acknowledged it, they have generally lived by it. That gives the president somewhere between 60 and 90 days to beat the ever living daylights out of an enemy before he has to talk to Congress.
His comments came as Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., emphasized the need for Trump to seek congressional approval. Multiple Democratic senators, including 2020 hopeful Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., signed on to a bill seeking to restrict Trump’s ability to attack Iran. The bill, sponsored by Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., specifically cited the Constitution and War Powers Act — a 1973 law setting conditions for the president to enter into military conflict.
Here’s something else these morons have forgotten. We have been technically at war with Iran since 1979. Iran actually declared war on us. They have been killing Americans for decades. We just haven’t prosecuted a full out war against them, just chipped at the edges a bit. Of course, The CommuNazis are all for surrendering to the Iranians and were totally on board for Obama’s version of the Munich Agreement.
After the attacks on Sept. 11, Congress granted former President George W. Bush broad authority — too much, in some critics’ opinion – in pursuing military action. House Democrats specifically repealed that law on Wednesday in an apparent attempt to clarify its opposition to Trump unilaterally using force against Iran.
So what? Was the vote to repeal it also passed in the Senate? Did President Trump then sign that bill into law or veto it? If the latter, was his veto overridden? I would say no. However, San Fran Nan thinks she’s in charge and if she says the law is passed, then so be it.
Of course, the CommuNazis are to used to dealing with NeoCon swamp dwellers like John Bolton. Now I like Mr. Bolton, but sometimes he’s a bit fast and loose with the “Lets bomb the crap out of them!” rhetoric. President Trump canceled the counterattack because he wasn’t sure it was the right thing to do. Apparently, he was given new information that the local commander went off the reservation and shot down the drone on his own, and the Mullahs were most unhappy with this.
Consider how all the previous presidents for the last 30 years have acted. Bush invaded Iraq on bad intelligence, and the Congress was just as guilty for not doing their job. President Trump was ready to go but with new information, he made a new decision. Now, we’re really hurting the Iranians by basically, shutting down their power grid, hacking everything connected to the Internet and more importantly, going after their bank accounts. This will probably do far more damage then any missile attack and an antiaircraft battery, and hurt the mullahs far more. (They certainly don’t care how many Iranians get killed)
Justin Amashole is once again showing that all he cares about is himself. He started going after President Trump when the sanctions on China started hitting his family business. (If they were so stupid to not see what was coming, they deserve to be ruined) Now he’s doubling down on his moronic behavior. I hope he enjoys himself, my guess is he’s going to lose his primary and be retired due to ill health. His constituents are sick of him.
