Good day all. Joe Biden has a long history of putting his foot deeply into his mouth. However, since he’s started running for president, his gaffes, misstatements and flat out lies are drawing all the wrong sorts of attention to him.
In speech in Saint Louis, Biden couldn’t get a sentence out without screwing up. This led to President Trump posting an edited video of Biden’s speech where it looks like he’s actually endorsing the reelection of Donald Trump. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
Joe Biden is racking up endorsements from former rivals and Democratic insiders, but a gaffe-riddled 7-minute speech on Saturday in St. Louis, Missouri, led President Trump to tweet out an edited clip that appears to have the former vice president endorse the current commander in chief.
During the brief address, Biden, 77, declared: “If you want a nominee who will bring this party together, who will run a progressive, positive campaign, and turn, turn this primary from a campaign that’s about negative attacks into one that’s about what we’re for — because we cannot get — re-elect — we cannot win this re-election — excuse me. We can only re-elect Donald Trump — if, in fact, we get engaged in this circular firing squad here. Gotta be a positive campaign, so join us.
Biden also bizarrely described himself as an “O’Biden Bama” Democrat, transposing his name and the name of his old boss.
The muddled remarks led to renewed concerns from Republicans and left-of-center commentators that Biden may be mentally unfit for the presidency. On Twitter, President Trump jokingly took Biden’s speech as a mangled endorsement.
“I agree with Joe!” Trump wrote, captioning a video of the address that edited out the second part of Biden’s remarks.
While Comrade Bernie is a communist totalitarian, he does seem to know what day of the week it is, where he is currently, and what his own name is, which is more then we can say for Quid Pro Quo Joe. However, the DNC and their minions in the media are generally desperate to keep Comrade Bernie from becoming the nominee. Because of this, they’ve basically covered up Biden’s gaffes and his mental state.
Journalist Aaron Mate has pointed out the relative lack of scrutiny for Biden in the network media, which with some exceptions has largely steered clear of probing the former vice president’s overseas dealings or his possible cognitive issues.
“When’s the last time Joe Biden sat for a live, unedited interview like Bernie did this week w/ Maddow?” Mate asked. “For example, I’d love to know what Biden said here after claiming Hunter got his $80K/month Ukraine board gig because ‘he’s a really bright guy.’ But it’s clearly edited.”
And, last summer, The New York Times reported that many Biden associates and insiders were doubting with “significant unease” whether he would be too old to serve as an effective candidate.
It’s not just the insiders, Barack Obama was completely opposed to Biden running again for President. He would know just how bad Biden was during their administration. It was Biden, after all, who advised Obama not to send in the SEAL team or bombers to get Osama bin Laden, but to call the Pakistani government and have them arrest bin Laden. Biden simply couldn’t grasp that it was the Pakistani’s who had been hiding the most wanted man on Earth from the United States.
For now, though, Biden is largely basking in the support of a unified Democratic Party — even picking up the endorsement of Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who just last year accused Biden of supporting what she called racist policies that affected her personally.
“There is no one better prepared than Joe to steer our nation through these turbulent times, and restore truth, honor, and decency to the Oval Office,” Harris said in a statement Sunday. “He is kind and endlessly caring, and he truly listens to the American people.”
Harris, Warren, Klobucher and the others who have given up the race are all looking to get on the ticket as the VP nominee. They all see what will happen if Biden should win. He would be removed from office under the 25th Amendment, and one of these political lower life forms Progressive Liberal Democrats would then step in and become president.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Ruling Progressive Elite in the DNC are thinking the exact same thing. Get Biden elected then get him out of the way as quickly as possible. However, they also understand that Biden getting elected is really not in the cards. He’s already a two time loser, and frankly, President Trump will, with little effort, show just how bad Biden’s mental state is.
Of course, there is one other scenario that the Progressive Ruling Elite might be considering. If Comrade Bernie manages to hold on and force a brokered convention, the DNC could dump both of them and go with someone else. Of course, it would also show, even more so, just how little the Democratic CommuNazi elite think of the Democrat voters. Pass the popcorn, it’s going to be an interesting election season.
