Good day all. A couple of months ago, when the reports came out of France that old anti-malarial drugs seemed to help people who were infected with the China Flu, a story came out about a couple that decided to self medicate. instead of actual medicine, they used fish tank cleaner. The husband died.
It turned out that what they consumed was not medical grade pharmaceuticals, (Which they couldn’t have gotten without a prescription), but fish tank cleaner. The wife, who survived, claimed they took the stuff because of what President Trump said, that the drugs seemed to help and that it should be looked into.
The Democratic CommuNazi Ministry of Propaganda, (Formally the Main Stream Media), promptly went full on nuts, accusing President Trump of everything under the sun, including murder. Well, since that tragic event, a few things have come out.
First the couple were anything but Trump supporters. They are dyed in the wool, yellow dog Democrats. Second, there was something fishy about the husband willingly consuming fish tank cleaner. Well, the police agreed and now an investigation is underway. Here are the details we have from the Washington Free Beacon:
The Mesa City Police Department’s homicide division is investigating the death of Gary Lenius, the Arizona man whose wife served him soda mixed with fish tank cleaner in what she claimed was a bid to fend off the coronavirus. A detective handling the case confirmed the investigation to the Washington Free Beacon on Tuesday after requesting a recording of the Free Beacon’s interviews with Lenius’s wife, Wanda.
Gary Lenius, 68, died on March 22. Wanda, 61, told several news outlets last month that both she and her husband had ingested a substance used to clean aquariums after hearing President Donald Trump tout one of its ingredients, chloroquine phosphate, from the White House briefing room.
And as we all know, the MSM took that and promptly demanded that President Trump be removed from office. However, there was always something off about this story, and the Mesa City Police Department agreed.
Detective Teresa Van Galder, the homicide detective handling the case for the Mesa City Police Department, confirmed that the investigation is ongoing but declined to provide additional details.
“As this is an active investigation, I cannot go into any details at this time regarding the case,” Van Galder said. The Free Beacon provided a recording of its interview last month with Wanda Lenius.
Apparently, Wanda is known to the police and the marriage was anything but blissful. Originally, when the story came out, NBC News decided to use it to bash President Trump. This isn’t surprising since doing actual news reporting is something that NBC long ago gave up doing. The report suggested that the couple were morons and mindlessly followed the Presidents advice. However, the couples friends and neighbors knew that the late husband was anything but an idiot.
They, (The friends), described Lenius as a levelheaded retired engineer and recounted a troubled marital relationship that included a previous domestic assault charge against his wife, of which she was ultimately found not guilty. The Free Beacon also reported that Wanda Lenius was a Democratic donor whose most recent contribution went to a “pro-science” super PAC.
Another source, who asked that all identifying information be withheld, told the Free Beacon earlier this month that Wanda Lenius “would constantly berate Gary in public.… Everyone was embarrassed for him, but he outwardly did not seem to care much.”
“In our opinion, their marriage was seen outwardly to be as one-sided as a marriage possibly could be: Gary worshiped Wanda,” this person said, adding that his wife “would routinely call him a doofus” and humiliate him in public.
Well, this bitch is a real prize winner. She also, apparently, went after her husband with an interesting choice of blunt instruments.
Wanda Lenius was charged with domestic abuse assault in 2001 after she allegedly hit her husband and swung a mounted birdhouse at him. Gary Lenius declined to cooperate in the case, testifying that he was not injured or placed in fear of injury. His wife was exonerated.
This is exactly the sort of thing that makes investigators sit up and go “Hmmm.” Still, no charges have been filed as yet and the Washington Free Beacon published an update.
UPDATE, April 29, 11:17 A.M.: After publication, a spokesman for the Mesa City Police Department told the Free Beacon that it is “normal protocol” for the homicide department to investigate “all death cases (other than obvious natural causes)” and that the death “has not been ruled a homicide at this time.”
No, it wouldn’t be even if Wanda had been seen whacking her husband with an ax after shooting him in the head. They aren’t the FBI, which likes to manufacture crimes to set people up. No, they will do a very careful investigation and if the evidence warrants, slap the cuffs on Wanda and haul her off to jail. As for covering this story in the Mostly Stupid Media? You are joking, right?
