Good day all. This story just broke so the 72 hour rule is in effect. The Department of Justice has just moved to drop it’s case against General Michael Flynn.
Flynn was one of the first people that the Deep State went after in their plan to overthrow President Trump. Flynn initially fought the charges but ran out of money and agreed to plead guilty to one count after the prosecutors threatened his family.
Flynn replaced his lawyers with a new one and she turned out to be the worst nightmare possible for the prosecution, and frankly, Flynn’s former legal team. She’s been turning uip all sorts of exculpatory information to the point the Judge in the case told her to just get it all together and submit it on one huge pile. The latest document drop were a series of memos showing that the FBI had no case, but that they decided to frame General Flynn. Here are the details of this breaking story from Fox News:
The Justice Department on Thursday moved to drop its case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, in a stunning development that comes after internal memos were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s late 2017 guilty plea of lying to the FBI.
The announcement came in a court filing, with the department saying it is dropping the case “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information.” The DOJ said it had concluded that Flynn’s interview by the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.”
Considering what’s been coming out from the Defense, I think that a certain prosecuting attorney is looking to change his pants. It’s beginning to look like he either hid evidence, or is so incompetent that he didn’t follow the judges orders to find it in the first place.
The federal judge overseeing the case would have to make the final determination to dismiss the case.
If the judge ignores the Department of Justice and continues with the case, he will be seen as nothing more then a judicial tyrant. It wold also give President Trump the ammunition to pardon General Flynn if he needs to.
Earlier Thursday, the top prosecutor on the case, Brandon Van Grack, abruptly withdrew from the case, without explanation, in a brief filing with the court.
Yep, he’s looking for a nice retirement home in a non-extradition country, after he changes his underwear.
The U.S. attorney reviewing the Flynn case, Jeff Jensen, recommended dropping the case to Attorney General William Barr last week and formalized the recommendation in a document this week.
“Through the course of my review of General Flynn’s case, I concluded the proper and just course was to dismiss the case,” Jensen said in a statement. “I briefed Attorney General Barr on my findings, advised him on these conclusions, and he agreed.”
President Trump reacted from the Oval Office just minutes after the DOJ filing surfaced, calling him an “innocent man.”
“He was an innocent man… Now in my book he’s an even greater warrior,” Trump said Thursday, while criticizing Obama administration officials. “They’re human scum. … It’s treason.”
Well Mr. President, I agree that the Obama Regime was made up of scum, and that crimes were committed. However, I don’t think treason is one of them. But I understand where you’re coming from. In the mean time, what happens next?
There is an investigation by the United States Attorney in Connecticut, John Durham, that is looking into the whole Russia Investigation and how it was handled. With this recent bombshell, I think we’re coming up to the point where a number of Former Obama scum are going to be looking for lawyers. I suspect Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell won’t be available. I think she’s going to be suing an awful lot of Obama scum for framing General Flynn.
