The Deep State rats are turning on each other

Good day all. Finally, the coup plotters who attempted to overthrow President Trump are beginning to face the music. Last week, Rod Rodentstain testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee and threw everyone he could under the bus.

Almost immediately, the other targets for investigation returned fire, accusing Rodentstain of lying to the committee, (Which he probably did). So, grab some popcorn and here is what was reported by Fox News:

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe accused former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein of giving “false” testimony Wednesday about James Comey’s memos documenting his interactions with President Trump.

During his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Rosenstein suggested that McCabe should have shared details about former FBI Director Comey’s memos on his conversations with the president earlier, claiming that he didn’t tell him about their existence until right before they were leaked.

Asked whether McCabe lied to him, Rosenstein testified: “Lying is when you ask someone a direct question and get a false answer. Candor is when you’re forthcoming with information someone needs to know. I believe McCabe should have recognized that when I became acting AG [overseeing the Russia probe], I needed to know about Comey’s memos and he didn’t tell me until a couple of hours before they showed up in the New York Times.”

A little background on Comey and his memos. These were confidential memos Comey took with him and deliberately leaked to the media through Daniel Richman, a professor at Columbia Law School. (Who should be removed from his position. He knew what he was doing was questionable under the law, but he hates Trump so he did it anyway, providing the memos to the New York Slimes) Now McCabe, who is probably going to be indicted by John Durham, is, as you might expect, unhappy with Rod Rodentstain’s comments.

McCabe, on Wednesday, fired back, essentially accusing Rosenstein of lying.

Mr. Rosenstein’s claims to have been misled by me, or anyone from the FBI, regarding our concerns about President Trump and the Trump campaign’s interactions with Russia are completely false,” McCabe said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Rosenstein approved of, and suggested ways to enhance, our investigation of the President,” he continued. “Further, I personally briefed Mr. Rosenstein on Jim Comey’s memos describing his interactions with the President mere days after Mr. Rosenstein wrote the memo firing Jim Comey.”

Oh this is going to be fun! The Deep State expected and planned on Felonia von Pantsuit winning the election. If she had, all the investigations now underway would have been shut down and, instead of looking to emigrate to a non-extradition country, they would all be sitting pretty working to further enrich themselves and the Progressive Liberal Elites. Now? They are looking at retiring to Club Fed.

McCabe added: “Mr. Rosenstein’s testimony is completely at odds with the factual record. It looks to be yet another sad attempt by the President and his men to rewrite the history of their actions in 2017. They have found in Mr. Rosenstein – then and now – a willing accessory in that effort.”

McCabe, Brennan and Clapper are all looking at potential criminal charges over what they tried to do to President Trump. They are running scared and may be trying to position themselves to make deals to turn state’s evidence in exchange for immunity. Hmm, I think I need more popcorn.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., read McCabe’s statement to Rosenstein at the end of the hearing Wednesday, and asked for his response.

I think one thing you need to appreciate…is that I had a very strong team working with me at the Justice Department,” Rosenstein said, noting that it was a team “including Trump appointees, career people, Republicans and Democrats.”

I spoke to my team—not Mr. McCabe. I spoke with my team,” he continued.

One of the things that came out of the hearings was just how corrupt or incompetent Rodenstain was. He admitted, or claimed, that he didn’t really read through all the FISA requests he signed off on. It was the attempt to railroad Carter Page into prison on trumped up charges that finally blew the whole thing wide open.

Recently, the Department of Justice, after General Michael Flynn’s new attorney started doing real digging, (Unlike his previous lawyers), dropped all the charges against General Flynn. Now another mess is underway as judge Emmett Sullivan tried to keep Flynn’s coerced guilty plea in place and tried to prosecute him on new bogus charges. Now Rodentstain is trying to dog responsibility on the FISA warrants by blaming everyone else.

Meanwhile, Rosenstein testified Wednesday that he would not have signed a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant renewal application for former Trump campaign aide Carter Page had he known about the since-revealed misconduct surrounding those warrants – while faulting the FBI for its handling of the documents.

Of course he would have, in fact he did. Rodentstain is a coward and is now trying to save himself. Whether or not he perjured himself in the hearing will need to be determined. I suspect he may have “Shaded the truth” to some extent, but may not have quite reached the point of lying to congress. (Clapper and Brennan on the other hand, flat out did)

I am of the opinion that Rodentstain needs to be tried right along with all the others. If he had actually been an honest man, the Mueller Inquisition would never have taken place. Only the fact that Jeff “Sleepy” Sessions walked away from his duties is the only reason why Mueller was allowed to rampage through Washington. Now all these people are looking over their shoulders. United States Attorney John Durham, who has run a very tight, leak proof investigation, is now talking with a grand jury. I don’t think it will end well for any of these scum.
