Good day all. John “The Stache” Bolton was once someone I admired. A lot of people admired him. However, he also had a problem. Bolton is what is called a “War Hawk.” His first thought is always to start a war.

When President Trump was elected, among the things he intended to do was get out of all these wars where troops weren’t being allowed to fight to win. Others we have since discovered, we shouldn’t have gotten into in the first place. Examples are Afghanistan and Iraq. Going into Iraq after 9/11 was the right thing to do. What wasn’t the right thing was trying to do nation building. We should have just flattened everything and left.
Iraq was something we didn’t need to go into in the first place. I won’t bother going into the reasons, at the time I agreed with them. (Yes, there were chemical weapons found and Saddam was ready to begin production again) However, rather then just go in and level everything, the Globalists decided that nation building was once again the way to go.

John Bolton was the American ambassador to the United Nations when we went into Iraq again. He was instrumental in convincing people that we were in the right. After President Bush left office, Bolton went on all the talking head shows when comments from the “Republican” side were needed. Bolton could be counted on to say we needed to bomb someone.
This brings is to President Trump. When President Trump won, Bolton started lobbying hard for either National Security Advisor or Secretary of State. He eventually became the National Security Advisor. This is where the problems began. Bolton’s basic philosophy was developed during the Cold War. (As was mine) He didn’t understand that the cold war was over and we won.
He saw everything through the prism of stopping the communists. (Not a bad thing) However, the main communist threat, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics ceased to exist in 1991, and along with it, a major reason for deploying American troops around the world. This left the People’s Republic of China, which is more of a Fascist, National Socialist country then true red communist as our chief competitor.

We also have North Korea which, while locally very dangerous, really isn’t that much of a threat to the United States. Our “Main enemy” these days is the Islamic world and their desire to impose Islam on everyone, or kill those who won’t convert. Early on, President Trump showed how he handles things by doing something that Bolton never suggested to any president. He took the gloves off and told the Military to do what it takes to destroy ISIS. They promptly did.
When Bolton became the National Security Advisor, he found that President Trump, while willing to use force when needed, wasn’t going to get us into a war we didn’t have a real reason to be in. When Iran fired missiles at a base of ours in Saudi Arabia, they did cause some damage and there were some injuries. However, no one was killed.
President Trump approved an order to bomb the missile base, but as the mission was inbound, he asked how many Iranians were going to be killed. I believe that the airstrike was expected to kill hundreds. President Trump ordered the mission aborted.
His reasoning was simple. They did break things, but they didn’t kill any Americans. We can replace the broken things, but President Trump didn’t want to punish a bunch of Iranians who only did their job. Instead, President Trump decided to destroy the Iranian economy instead.
Then we had the negotiations with North Korea. President Trump wanted the North Koreans to shut down their nuclear weapons program. This led to President Trump meeting with the fat little rocket man, Kim Jong Un. Whether this meeting was worth the effort, history will determine. What is known is that John Bolton was utterly opposed to the meeting. He was constantly pushing the military option and send in bombers, missiles and follow on troops to destroy North Korea’s nuclear weapons program.
Such an action would have led to a second Korean War, which both President Trump and the South Koreans were not interested in starting. Finally, President Trump had enough sent Bolton packing. This is when Bolton turned on President Trump.
He, like all good members of the beltway Deep State Globalist Uniparty, wrote his “tell all expose” of his time in the Trump Administration. This is where things go off the rails and show everyone that John Bolton’s primary allegiance is to John Bolton.
Because of his position, Bolton was required to submit his manuscript to the government to verify that no classified material was in it. He did do this, but before the review was completed, the publisher released the book. A lawsuit to stop this was filed, however the judge ruled, reluctantly, in favor of Bolton. He also left open the possibility that John Bolton could be prosecuted.
As for the book? It’s being panned by everyone who has knowledge of what happened, in some cases, calling Bolton a flat out liar. South Korea has stated that remarks by Bolton in his book did not happen. According to MSN:
South Korea slammed former White House national security adviser John Bolton for distorting the facts regarding nuclear talks between leaders of the U.S. and the Koreas in his forthcoming memoir.
South Korea’s national security adviser, Chung Eui-yong, said Bolton’s description of top-level consultation in his new book “The Room Where It Happened,” is not accurate.
“It does not reflect accurate facts and substantially distorts facts,” South Korea’s national security adviser, said in a statement, according to Reuters.
He also accused Bolton of “being inaccurate” and “distorting the reality,” according to The Washington Post.

There were other people who said regarding other comments by Bolton that not only did the events not happen, Bolton wasn’t even in the room. President Trump’s first National Security Advisor, K.T. McFarland wrote in Fox News that she knew it wouldn’t end well. She asked Bolton if he voted for Trump. He said he did even though he considered Trump an idiot but he was better then Felonia von Pantsuit. MacFarland continues:
That’s why I had my doubts when Bolton lobbied so aggressively for and became President Trump’s national security adviser less than two years later. I figured it would be a rocky ride for them both and predicted it wouldn’t end well.
Which it didn’t. In many ways, President Trump and John Bolton are dead opposites in foreign policy. Trump’s primary goal was, and continues to be, rebuilding America. Bolton’s was to get us into meaningless wars.
Bolton and Trump clashed from the beginning – not just over policy, but in style and temperament. Bolton pushed for preemptive military action against Iran, Syria, Venezuela and North Korea. When the president took a different course, Bolton took to the phone. He became the “anonymous source” for reporters, dishing out tales of White House chaos and presidential incompetence.

I heard from several of my former NSC colleagues who remained at the White House after I left that Bolton spent most of his time – when he wasn’t in the Oval Office – sitting in his office behind closed doors. His staff wasn’t sure what he did for those hours on end. Now we know – he was, in all likelihood, turning his copious notes into a manuscript, presumably in anticipation of getting a lucrative book deal, and rushing it into print quickly when the inevitable happened and he was fired.
Bolton’s biggest lies concerned the Ukraine and China. He claimed that he knew for a fact that President Trump wanted the Ukraine to investigate Biden and if they didn’t he would cut of aid. As we saw during the hearings and the Democrat led coup attempt impeachment, this was a lie. His next lie was in regards to China and President Trump asking them to help him get reelected.
Some of the most serious accusations Bolton makes are that President Trump tried to enlist Chinese support to help him get reelected. Yet, Bolton himself wasn’t in those meetings, and those who were have since come forward to say Bolton is lying. Furthermore, Bolton’s claims don’t make sense.
Trump is the first American president ever to stand up to the Chinese. Why would President Xi Jinping want him to be reelected? Surely his interests lie in a President Joe Biden, who just a few months ago scoffed at the suggestion China posed a threat to our interests.
Why indeed? The answer is simple. John Bolton is one of the Washington Deep State swamp dwellers. He has no connection to the average American. This is a sad end to a once very respected man. He was once known as “The ‘Stache” when he was hammering on unfriendly countries. Now? He’s going to be known as “The Stooge.” When Bush left office, Bolton should have just become an elder statesman. Now, he may become federal prisoner #401226 and trade in his bespoke suits for an orange romper. So sad.
