Good day all. One of the worst governors in the country, (and it’s a very tight race), is Michigan governor Gretchen “Wretched Gretchen” Whitmer. When the Wuhan Flu arrived, she, like many governors. Took this an an opportunity to seize absolute power.
The Great Panicdemic of 2020 saw what has amounted to a declaration of martial law and the suspension of the individual’s civil and constitutional rights. These tyrants claimed, at firs, that it was to “Bend the curve” and “Make sure that we have plenty of space in the hospitals.” As things progressed and people saw that the Kung Flu, while nasty, wasn’t the zombie plague they were led to believe it was, started demanding that the lock downs end and we return to our normal way of life.
Many of the states started unlocking their citizens, while others never instituted any sort of lock down. A few governors, almost all of them Democrats, (Or Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis as I like to call them), refused to undo the damage they’ve been doing, and instead have tightened down even further.
As you might expect, people have been taking these governors to court. Recently, the governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, was slapped upside the head by a Federal judge over his actions. Now, it’s Wretched Gretchen’s turn. The Supreme Court of Michigan just ruled that she had far exceeded her authority and has ruled all her actions unconstitutional. Here are the details from Wood TV8:
A 1945 law repeatedly used by Gov. Gretcher Whitmer to respond to the coronavirus pandemic was declared unconstitutional Friday by the Michigan Supreme Court, a striking decision that puts months of restrictions in jeopardy while COVID-19 continues to flare up around the state.
The opinion is an extraordinary development in a monthslong conflict between Whitmer, a Democrat, and Republicans who control the Legislature and have complained that they have been shut out of sweeping orders that have impacted education, the economy and health care. Coincidentally, the court’s action emerged on the same day that Whitmer’s foes submitted more than 539,000 signatures in a bid to repeal the ’45 law.
The decision was split, with the Republican judges considering the constitutions of the state and Federal Constitution, and the Democrats siding with the forces of slavery and totalitarianism. As for Wretched Gretchen? She intends to ignore the court and continue her rule by decree.
The governor said the 4-3 decision, with Republican-nominated justices in the majority, was “deeply disappointing.” But Whitmer did not signal that she was giving up. She said her emergency declaration and related orders still can remain in place for 21 days, and then many of them will continue “under alternative sources” of law.
Wretched Gretchen has shown herself to be nothing more then a typical Turd World tyrant. That she refuses to cede the illegal powers she’s seized shows that she has nothing but contempt for the rule of law, the constitution of the state of Michigan, and the Constitution of the United States of America. Honestly, she needs to be removed from office.
The Supreme Court said the ’45 public safety law cited by Whitmer granted Michigan governors unchecked authority.
“That act is an unlawful delegation of legislative power to the executive branch in violation of the Michigan Constitution,” Justice Stephen Markman wrote. “Accordingly, the executive orders issued by the governor in response to the COVID-19 pandemic now lack any basis under Michigan law.”
Of course, the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis on the court were all in with giving Wretched Gretchen absolute, unfettered power.
In a dissent, Chief Justice Bridget McCormack said she would have let the law stand, even if it gives a governor sole authority to “exercise the whole of the state’s police power in some emergencies.”
Now as I understand it, the judges to the court are elected. Considering the flat out rage many people in Michigan have towards Wretched Gretchen’s actions, and those who have been willing accomplices, I have a sneaking suspicion that McCormack isn’t long for the court. Both she and Wretched Gretchen are also quite tone deaf when it comes to the rage people are feeling. Many are ready to open the 4th box of Liberty and deal with the Powers that Be in a permanent and not very legal way. Being completely tone deaf to what is going on, McCormack doubled down on her stupidity.
Lawmakers could repeal the law or amend it, and frustrated residents could sue if they do not agree with specific orders, McCormack said.
“The majority needlessly inserts the court into what has become an emotionally charged political dispute,” McCormack wrote, joined by fellow Democratic-nominated justices Richard Bernstein and Megan Cavanagh.
The problem with that statement is that the legislature has tried to repeal it, only to have Wretched Gretchen veto the measure, and with the able assistance of the CommuNazis in the legislature, have her veto upheld. In other words, there is no lawful mechanism in place to repeal this law. However, there is another way to repeal the law that can’t be stopped by Wretched Gretchen and her cronies.
Unlock Michigan, which collected petitions for an initiative to rescind the ‘45 law, said the law still needs to be repealed. If 340,000 of the conservative group’s signatures are deemed valid, the Legislature could adopt the bill and Whitmer could not veto it.
“A different court, at a different time, could come to a different conclusion,” said Unlock Michigan spokesman Fred Wszolek.
I think we can assume that Wretched Gretchen’s people will work to make sure the number of valid signatures is significantly below the requirement. The woman is a classic tyrant, utterly unfit to hold office. Sadly, the people of Michigan are stuck with her until 2023. The term of office for Governor is four years and Wretched Gretchen assumed the throne took office in 2019. Of course, should could be impeached, however that is not likely since there are enough Democratic CommuNazis to protect her.
In any case, this is a major win for the citizens of Michigan, and hopefully they can do something to get rid of the Tyrannical Queen Lansing.
