Good day all. Recently it was announced that the Recall Newsom groups had gathered enough signatures to put the Recall question on the ballot. However, they also announced they would keep gathering signatures “just in case” to make sure they had enough to cover any that were declared invalid.
The Recall campaign has now announced that they have gathered almost 2 million signatures and they still have about a week to go. This number all but assures that the Recall question will be on the ballot in a few months. Here are the details from Fox News:
The petition to recall California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has collected 1.95 million signatures just days ahead of the final deadline to qualify for a statewide ballot.
The announcement from Recall Gavin 2020 came on Sunday in Sacramento, across the street from the California State Capitol. Orrin Heatlie, the founder of the California Patriot Coalition-Recall Gavin Newsom 2020, said the campaign is still aiming to get an additional number of signatures “in order to bridge that 2 million mark.”
The current recall effort requires about 1.5 million valid signatures. Currently, about 82% of the signatures turned in have been validated, with 18% being declared invalid. (Those are probably Trump voters, who are to be banned from everything in Kalifornistan) This is why the Recall committees are aiming for at least 2 million signatures, and I think they’re going to achieve that number, and probably surpass it, which has to be increasing the laundry bills for Gruesome Newsom and his minions.
“One thing we want to let everybody know here, especially to the politicians across the street and the lobbyists that have destroyed California’s dream for decades and generations is that your game’s over,” Randy Economy, Senior Advisor to Recall Gavin Newsom 2020 said. “From now on, the people are in charge of California.”
There have been a number of recall efforts over the decades since the ability to initiate a recall election was created in Kalifornistan. There has only been one successful recall, and that was former govno Gray Davis. I recall that event and that Davis was in utter shock over being removed from office. I suspect that Gruesome Newsom and his minions are working overtime to rig the election, making sure that every single illegal alien knows to vote illegally for Newsom.
I don’t think that’s going to work for him. Everything I’ve seen and read indicates that Newsom is about as well liked as Adolph Hitler. (Well that might be a bit of an overstatement) I suspect he is going to be blown out and become the second Kalifornistan governor removed due to ill health. The voters are sick of him. There is also a fair chance that a Republican might actually win, although I personally don’t expect that to happen. Just the same, seeing another Democrat Governor handed his walking papers will bring a warm feeling to me.
