Good day all. A couple of weeks ago Georgia passed a new election law designed to clean up the mess from the 2020 election debacle. This set off the Progressive Liberal CommuNazis since the new law is designed to stop their primary way of winning elections, cheating.
The moonbats, upset that Georgia was going to prevent them from stealing the next election, announced that everyone should boycott Georgia until they roll over and just announce that all future elections will be won by the Democrats. This led to Major League Baseball announcing that they were going to pull the All Star game from Georgia unless they repealed the law. This then led Dementia Joe to put his foot in his mouth again and announce that Georgia needed to “Smarten up.” Here are the details from Fox News:
President Biden said that Georgia needs to “smarten up” to avoid businesses leaving the state over its new voting legislation.
“It is reassuring to see that for-profit operations and businesses are speaking up about how these new Jim Crow laws that are just antithetical to who we are,” the president told reporters Tuesday.
“There’s another side to it too. When they in fact move out of Georgia, people who need help most, people who are making hourly wages, sometimes get hurt the most,” Biden said.
He said he supports however businesses decide to protest the law. “I think it’s a very tough decision for a corporation to make or group to make, I respect them when they make that judgment, I support whatever judgment they make. The best way to deal with this is for Georgia and other states to smarten up. Stop it, stop it,” he said.
What has come out since the law that the Democrats hate is that no one actually bothered to read it. The corporations who are making all of these decisions never actually read the law. It turns out that, surprising no one, Dementia Joe and flat out lied about what the law was about. One of the Fake President’s lies was that it would close the polls at 5pm and people who were working wouldn’t be able to vote. That was not correct.
Georgia enacted sweeping election reform last week that required voter ID for absentee voting rather than relying on signature matching for verification, limited ballot drop boxes to one per county or one per 100,000 voters, expanded early voting days, and standardized early voting hours to a minimum of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a maximum of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The legislation barred outside groups from passing out food and water to those in line within 150 feet.
The big thing was the requirement for an ID when getting an absentee ballot. The Progressives hate having to provide proof that they are actually entitled to vote in that location, and having to show an ID to get an absentee ballot means they won’t be able to forge signatures and stuff the ballot box. As for not being able to hand our food and water within a certain distance of the poll? That’s pretty standard everywhere. It’s to prevent electioneering.
Last month, Biden said the new voting law in Georgia would end voting at 5 p.m., making it difficult for people working. The Washington Post, however, gave that claim “four Pinocchios,” because that section of the law gives counties the option to extend voting hours.
I wrote up a post about that last week. It amazes me that anyone who has followed Dementia Joe over the years would ever think he is an honest and truthful person. He is a pathological liar. Now that he has been installed into the Oval Office, (He sure wasn’t elected), both his senility and his untruthfulness are being seen nationally and internationally. Not only is he a pathological liar, he is mindbogglingly stupid and always has been. His dementia is just making it worse. Eventually, he will put his foot so far into his mouth that he will be removed under the 25th amendment. Then we get to deal with the hooker.
