Good day all. The trial of Derek Chauvin is currently underway. He was the police officer who has been accused with causing the death of George Floyd. I haven’t been following the trial all that closely, and I’ve heard conflicting stories on how the case is proceeding. I suspect that it isn’t going well for the prosecution since the Progressive left has been rioting. This brings us to Representative, (Of herself), Maxine Waters.
She recently visited Brooklyn Center in Minnesota and promptly shot her big mouth off. She is calling for rioters to stay in the streets, rioting, looting and burning if they don’t get the results they want in the case. Here are the details from Fox News:
U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., showed up at an anti-police brutality protest in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on Saturday evening, saying demonstrators needed to “stay on the street,” demanding justice until police reform becomes a reality.
“I’m going to fight with all of the people who stand for justice,” Waters told reporters shortly before an 11 p.m. curfew. “We’ve got to get justice in this country and we cannot allow these killings to continue.”
There is no question that there are problems with policing in the United States. The most recent incident appears to have been an actual accident, although the investigation is continuing. (The officer thought she was holding a taser but was holding her pistol. The recordings seem to indicate she was startled when she discharged her firearm) However, what Mad Maxine and the others want is to basically disband local police, and if they don’t get their way, then it’s riots looting and arson.
Asked about the Derek Chauvin murder trial in Minneapolis, Waters told reporters if the former police officer isn’t found guilty of murdering George Floyd, “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”
Waters said she was “hopeful” Chauvin would be convicted of murder, but if he isn’t, “we cannot go away.”
So if they don’t get the verdict they want, then Waters wants to loot, pillage and burn? Gee, that sounds a lot like an incitement to riot and potentially insurrection. Didn’t she try to use that on The Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump?
“We’ve got to fight for justice,” she added, saying she is pressing for a police reform bill to be passed in Congress but said Republicans would likely stand in the way.
Mad Maxine has decided that defunding local police is the way to go, with the preference being full disbandment. We’re already seeing the results of this in a few locations, and now people are screaming at their local governments to restore policing levels, As for this moron’s own constituents? Those that aren’t committing crimes are the victims of crimes. Of course, she wouldn’t know that since she has her own security detail and DOESN’T EVENT LIVE IN HER DISTRICT!
“This is a very difficult time in the history of this country,” Waters, 82, a member of Congress since 1991, told The Associated Press. “We have to let people know that we are not going to be satisfied unless we get justice in these cases.”
So if the jury either acquits or hangs, you want a full on lynch mob? Gee, how KKK of your Mad Maxine.
“The way to get in control is not to allow them to win,” Waters said of political opponents, in comments that aired on FOX 9 in Minneapolis. “You’ve got to register and you’ve got to vote and you’ve got to take the power.”
I thought that was what the Democratic CommuNazis did. Rig elections and stuff ballot boxes so that “Your side” always wins. Was I mistaken? Considering you statement “Don’t allow them to win” sounds an awful lot like doing whatever it takes, instead of working through the system to me.
Mad Maxine is a disgrace in every sense of the word. She is a racist, corrupt and a flat out liar. She doesn’t care about anyone or anything other then herself. She’s been in a photo finish with the ethics committee several times, but since she is a member of the “Ruling elite” she is protected and will always get a pass. She fully intends to leave the House of Representatives feet first, yet another example of why we need term limits. I also think that her big mouth might have finally crossed the line and she could be criminally charged if there are further riots. Oh wouldn’t that be true sweet justice?
