Good day all. There is little love lost between Mitch McConnell and the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald J. Trump. About the only thing they agreed on was getting Constitutional Constructionists into as many opening in the Federal Court as possible. However, when the chips were down. McConnell showed his true colors, (Yellow), and let the Great Election Theft of 2020 stand.
One of the major differences between President Trump and Mitch “The Turtle” McConnell is the Beltway Swamp. President Trump did his best to drain it, and McConnell was always working to refill it and swim around in it. This angered most of the Republican Base, who thought that President Trump was doing the right thing. Over the course of 2 elections, they forced out dozens of Swamp Dwelling, Deep State never Trumpers.
This has led the GOPe to fight back since they are seeing their personal bank accounts being affected. One of the primary targets for President Trump and the Deplorables is Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski. The Alaskan Republican party is sick of her antics and actually managed to bounce her in her last primary. The spoiled bitch then ran a write in campaign and managed to sleaze her way back int the swamp in Washington.
Once this RINO cow got back in, she quickly submerged herself in the Beltway Swamp. When President Trump was impeached in a blatantly political move, Murkowski backed the impeachment. Now she is coming up for reelection again, and President Trump has announced that he will back her primary challenger. This has caused the Deep State Uniparty to have a sudden attack of the vapors, and now McConnell has announced his Political Action Committee will back Murkowski’s reelection. Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska is being targeted by former President Trump and is already facing a GOP primary challenge, but on Friday she gained the backing of the top outside group that supports Republican Senate incumbents and candidates. The Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), which is aligned with longtime Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, announced that it was endorsing Murkowski for reelection next year.
“Alaska needs the kind of experienced representation that Lisa Murkowski provides in the United States Senate,” SLF president Steven Law emphasized in a statement. “Whether fighting for Alaskan interests like expanding energy production and protecting fisheries, or advancing conservative priorities by confirming judges and cutting taxes, her strong leadership is vitally important to Alaska’s future. Many politicians put themselves first, but Lisa Murkowski always puts Alaska first.”
Murkowsky put’s herself first, not Alaska. She has managed to anger a large proportion of the voters in Alaska and the majority of the GOP base up there.
Murkowski, who hasn’t announced yet if she’ll run next year for a fourth six-year term in the Senate, is the only one of the seven Republican senators who last month voted to convict former President Trump in his impeachment trial who’s up for reelection in 2022.
I suspect she’s looking at the polls and has her undercover operatives out listening to what people are saying about her. As I understand it, they aren’t saying anything good about her performance. Still, this arrogant Uniparty GOPe Elitist will probably run. However, if she gets blown out again the primaries, I don’t think a write in campaign is going to save her.
McConnell said last month that he would support Murkowski’s reelection and Sen. Rick Scott of Florida, chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, has repeatedly pledged that the Senate GOP’s reelection arm will support all incumbents running for reelection.
And a number of those incumbents are just like Mittens Romney. They are TransRepublicans and put themselves first. They will always roll over to the CommuNazis and give them whatever they want. All that matters to them is maintaining their position and privileges. Scott should know that there are times when you need to cut your losses. Murkowski is one such person.
But the Alaska Republican Party last month passed a resolution censuring Murkowski for her impeachment trial vote, and for several other votes she took that have angered Republicans in the state.
Also, as first reported by Fox News, Alaska Commissioner of Administration Kelly Tshibaka last week launched a Republican primary challenge against Murkowski. Senior strategists from Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign are advising Tshibaka.
I have heard that former governor Sarah Palin was also talking about running for Murkowski’s seat. As much as I like her, I think her time has passed. Still, almost anyone would be better then Murkowski.
Murkowski is no stranger to fierce opposition from her own party. When she was running for reelection in 2010, the senator lost the GOP primary to Tea Party challenger Joe Miller, who was backed by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who at the time was at the pinnacle of her political influence. But Murkowski, following her primary defeat, launched a write-in campaign and won the general election.
As I mentioned before, I don’t think that will work this time. She’s managed to piss off a lot of people, and has shown she will always put the Deep State, aka The Federal Government and the Ruling Elite, first. There is a reason she has been called on of the “RINO Sisters.” Both she and Susan Collins have never put much stock in reducing the size and scope of government, and have always been willing to support the Democrats over their own party.
There isn’t much the GOP can do with regards to Collins, Maine is basically a lost cause. (All that inbreeding don’t you know, along with the Massholes who moved up there) Alaska is different, and it looks like they’re finally going to put the old moonbat out on an ice flow. As for McConnell? It looks like he’s setting up his exist strategy. Kentucky isn’t happy with his actions either.
As for his PAC? He might get lots of Never Trump money, but it’s the Deplorables that President Trump talks to, not the uber rich Deep State swamp dwellers McConnell and Murkowski like to swim with. We are seeing a sea change starting at the lower levels of the GOP and they want people like Murkoski and McConnell out. 2022 is going to be an interesting primary season.
