Good day all. As the reverberations continue over the Fall of Kabul and the reappearance of the Taliban, many people are trying to pass the buck of the Epic Biden Fail on to anyone else but them. (President Trump is their favorite target) However, it wasn’t supposed to be this way. This was supposed to be proof of President Dementia’s competence.

Of course, we’re now learning that the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, had an actual plan that probably would have worked and kept the Taliban at bay. They handed it to the Maladministration when they came in, but since it was a Trump plan, they trashed it.
Of course, when Dementia Joe announced that he was going to cut and run, there were those who were singing his praises. One of them was Senator Michael Bennet, the senior moonbat Senator from Colorado. A few days before Kabul fell and we saw just how inept President Dementia’s maladministration is, he was saying “Hey! Great Job there Brownie!” Here are the details from the Washington Times:
Sen. Michael Bennet praised President Biden a few days before the Taliban took Kabul for making the “right decision” on pulling U.S. troops out of Afghanistan, a comment now coming back to haunt the Colorado Democrat.
Mr. Bennet, who sits on the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, made his remarks in an Aug. 13 interview with the Colorado Sun, shortly before the Taliban overran the capital on Aug. 15 and thousands of Afghans sought to escape in a chaotic rush to the Kabul airport.
“I believe that he made the right decision,” Mr. Bennet told the Sun. “It was a difficult decision. It’s important to understand what the facts really are, which is that we were losing.”
This putz is on the Senate Intelligence Committee and he was spewing this garbage? What was he doing while the briefings were going on? Shagging his female staffers? He certainly wasn’t paying attention to what President Dementia was doing or how he ignored everything that people said would happen. Now we have thousands of Americans trapped in Afghanistan and have handed the terrorists billions in United States equipment.
Mr. Bennet has since focused on the importance of safely evacuating U.S. citizens and Afghan allies, as well as protecting Afghan women, but his support for the withdrawal as the Taliban rapidly advanced did not go unnoticed by Colorado Republicans.
I should hope not! Hopefully, the Colorado Republicans will remove their collective thumbs and beat this idiot about the head ans shoulders politically with his own comments.
“Yes, Senator Bennet, who is one of seven Democrats to sit on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, thinks that President Biden made the right decision on how he chose to pull out of Afghanistan,” said the Colorado Republican Party in a Friday press release.
Is that it? Is that all you can say about what this incredible fool? He helped preside over the greatest debacle since the Fall of Saigon and all you cans say is that he “Thinks Biden made the right decisions?”
The GOP also criticized Mr. Bennet for saying the Afghan Army numbered 300,000, a figure cited by Mr. Biden that has since been debunked by fact-checkers at outlets such as the Washington Post and CNN, which said it “significantly overstated the number of Afghans who were available to fight.”
“The reality is we’ve been there for 20 years and the Taliban is stronger today than it was in 2001,” Mr. Bennet said. “The Afghan Army is more than 300,000 people and the Taliban is less than a third of the size than that army and it was winning.”
The actual number was about 150,000. I can’t speak to the size of the Taliban forces, since I have no information. They certainly weren’t stronger then in 2001. The issues are far deeper and go back to decisions made by the Bush Administration that were built on by the Obama maladministration. By the time President Trump took office, people were tired of the nation building and wanted out. President Trump put together an agreement with checks and balances that the Taliban would have to meet in order for our withdrawal to continue.
What President Dementia did was basically a repeat of what he did as Senator to the South Vietnamese when North Vietnam invaded and cut off the Afghan army from the support they needed to fight the Taliban. He also ignored the agreed time table of the withdrawal and picked the absolute worst time of year to do it. Why don’t you pull the other finger Bennet, it has a bell on it.
The Colorado GOP said that as a member of the Senate intelligence committee, Mr. Bennet should have had better information about the army’s size as well as deteriorating conditions as the Taliban forged ahead and Afghan security forces folded.
“Senator Bennet has some serious questions to answer about why he supported this reckless, hasty, and haphazard plan,” the state party said.
“With thousands of Americans now stuck behind Taliban lines, Bennet needs to explain why he tried to cover up the Biden administration’s lies and incompetence,” Kyle Kohli, executive director of the conservative group Compass Colorado said.
Finally, someone with the stones to ask some very pointed questions of this walking hemorrhoid. Hopefully he will have a hard charging Republican who won’t hesitate to rake him over the coals in 2022. This nation does not need nitwits like Bennet, who put politics ahead of their duty, and frankly this goes for either party.
