Good day all. I’ve long criticized the Department of Homeland Security, and believe it should be disbanded. They have a tendency to act like a secret police force and it’s idiocy like this that redoubles my belief that it should be disbanded and everything reverted to what it was prior to it’s creation.
The idiocy in question is saying that people engaging in their constitutional rights of free speech could be seen as domestic terrorists. Here are the details from the DailyWire:
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security released an advisory summarizing the current terrorism threat, and mentioned “grievances over public health safety measures and perceived government restrictions” as potential threats.
“The Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a new National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin regarding the current heightened threat environment across the United States. The Homeland continues to face a diverse and challenging threat environment leading up to and following the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks as well religious holidays we assess could serve as a catalyst for acts of targeted violence,” the department wrote.
“These threats include those posed by domestic terrorists, individuals and groups engaged in grievance-based violence, and those inspired or motivated by foreign terrorists and other malign foreign influences. These actors are increasingly exploiting online forums to influence and spread violent extremist narratives and promote violent activity. Such threats are also exacerbated by impacts of the ongoing global pandemic, including grievances over public health safety measures and perceived government restrictions.”
The stupidity of the DHS continues with this “Priceless gem” of idiocy.
Under the “additional details” heading, the department wrote:
Through the remainder of 2021, racially- or ethnically-motivated violent extremists (RMVEs) and anti-government/anti-authority violent extremists will remain a national threat priority for the United States. These extremists may seek to exploit the emergence of COVID-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks. Pandemic-related stressors have contributed to increased societal strains and tensions, driving several plots by domestic violent extremists, and they may contribute to more violence this year.
The Department of Homeland Security is under the control of the Deep State and they are dedicated to the utter and complete destruction of those that elected the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. They ignore the actual violence of groups like Antifa and the BCLOM, (Black Communist Lives Only Matter), and go after those who are actually patriotic and believe in the Constitution of the United States as written.
They flat out do not consider actual terrorists to be a threat. Groups like the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and others, the real reason that the DHS was created, are now coming back to being real threats, thanks to the maladministration of President Dementia and Vice President Kamaltoe Blow job. They think that Americans are the real threat to America.
The pandemic is a more common thread in the department’s assessment than foreign terrorists, even though the Taliban has been gaining ground in Afghanistan. The department also warned of “false narratives and conspiracy theories,” though it did allude to anti-police sentiment as well.
Oh! you mean the conspiracy theories like Anthony Fauci was sending money to the Wuhan lab, and that the lab was doing Gain of Function Research, and that the China Virus probably escaped the lab? You know, things that have been shown to be true thanks to the FOIA document dump of Fauci’s email? Those conspiracy theories? The anti-police sentiment is primarily from the hard left, although many in the center and the right have some issues with some aspects of police activities.
“Law enforcement have expressed concerns that the broader sharing of false narratives and conspiracy theories will gain traction in mainstream environments, resulting in individuals or small groups embracing violent tactics to achieve their desired objectives. With a diverse array of threats, DHS is concerned that increased outbreaks of violence in some locations, as well as targeted attacks against law enforcement, may strain local resources,” the department wrote.
Most of those threats are coming from Antifa, in case you can’t be bothered to notice you idiots. You might want to look at the latest incidents in Portland, where Antifa attacked a peaceful church group and threw stun grenade among children. The local police did, as usual, nothing. Your problem is, you see the church group as the threat.
DHS said it was responding to these threats by continuing “to identify and evaluate calls for violence, including online activity associated with the spread of disinformation, conspiracy theories, and false narratives, by known or suspected threat actors and provide updated information, as necessary.”
And who are the “Threat actors” they are so concerned about?
The DHS memo follows multiple claims from the Biden administration that “white supremacy” is the biggest threat to America.
This is the Progressives mantra. Anyone who doesn’t bow down to the progressive totalitarian ideas is a white supremacist or better yet, a white nationalist supremacist. They fact that the so called “White Supremacy” movement basically died out decades ago means nothing to them. They will reactivate it themselves if they have to and accuse people of being a part of it. (See the case against the people accused of planning to kidnap Wretched Gretchen Whitmer. Most of those involved were FBI agents and the case is collapsing)
The DHS should never have been created and should be disbanded. They are a proven failure and are, with this latest pronouncement, an actual threat to the safety and security of the American people. The morons running it are so tone deaf, they can’t see that they are causing what they claim they want to prevent. A growing number of people who are coming to the conclusion that the only way to save the country is to open the 4th Box of Liberty. The Congressional Oversight committees need to step up and DO THEIR ACTUAL JOBS and reign in the DHS.
