Good day all. The Fall of Kabul and the thousands of trapped Americans continues to be a topic of discussion, and probably will be until the removal of President Bumbles Dementia from office. Many in the media are finally taking notice of Dementia Joe’s grip on reality, or lack thereof and are starting to ask very pointed questions of cabinet secretaries.
One of these is Antony “Rapid Eye” Blinken, the Secretary of State. He was asked some rather tough question by Fox News’s Chris Wallace. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
Secretary of State Antony Blinken gave an eyebrow-raising answer on Sunday when pressed about whether President Joe Biden knows what’s going on when it comes to Afghanistan, claiming that it was an “incredibly emotional time” for many people while refusing to directly answer the question.
Fox News host Chris Wallace repeatedly showed Blinken examples of things that Biden said during a press conference last week that were false, including the false claim that Al Qaeda was gone from Afghanistan and that U.S. allies have not questioned the administration’s credibility.
“Mr. Secretary, does the President not know what’s going on?” Wallace asked.
“This is an incredibly emotional time for many of us, and including allies and partners who’ve been shoulder to shoulder with us in Afghanistan for 20 years, at high costs themselves as well as us,” Blinken responded. “They stood with us after 9/11, invoked Article Five of NATO for the first time, an attack on one is an attack on all, and we’ve been there together. But I got to tell you this, Chris, from the get go, I spent more time with our NATO partners in Brussels, virtually from before the President made his decision to when he made his decision to every time since. We’ve been working very, very closely together. We’ve gotten the G7 together, NATO together, the U.N. Security Council together, we had 113 centuries, thanks to our diplomacy, to put out a clear understanding of the Taliban’s requirements to let people leave the country.”
What the Hell does that have to do with Dementia Joe’s mental competence? The simple answer is, Absolutely nothing. Wallace didn’t take gobbledygook for an answer and continued to press.
“Sir, respectfully that, that look, I’m not questioning whether or not the allies have a right to complain. I’m not questioning whether or not al Qaeda has a presence,” Wallace responded. “The President said, Al Qaeda is gone. It’s not gone. The President said he’s not heard any criticism from the allies. There’s been a lot of criticism from the allies, words matter and the words of the President matter most.”
Rapid Eye Blinken decided that doubling down was the way to go.
“Chris, all I can tell you is what I’ve heard,” Blinken said. “And again, this is an powerfully emotional time for a lot of allies and partners as it is for me, as it is for us.”
The Daily Wire has a full transcript of the interview along with a video of it. I didn’t watch the video, but I have read through the transcript. I read something the other day, just in passing, that the safely dead John McCain referred to Blinken as “Dangerous.” He was being confirmed for the post of deputy Secretary of State under the Obama regime. It seems that this was one of the few times McSlime was on the side of right instead of the side of John McSlime.
I have little doubt that Blinken knows that President Dementia is unfit for office. I can understand why he won’t just come out and say so. First, if Dementia Joe has to be removed under the 25th Amendment, the cabinet along with the Vice President have to agree and sign off on a letter to Congress. Making any statements now could start things rolling, and as a cabinet officer, Blinken would have to sign the letter. The second reason is that if he made such a statement, he would be on the street within hours. (President Bumbles Dementia would simply sign the document put in front of him firing Blinken. I doubt he would know what it actually said)
I’m of the opinion that the countdown clock has stated on Dementia Joe’s removal from office. He will either resign due to ill health, (Unlikely thanks to Her Doktor Jill Biden), be removed under the 25th Amendment or face Impeachment and Conviction. I suspect he will be gone by the end of the year. What do you think
