Good day all. The fallout from the Jussie Smollett conviction continues as the Progressive Rich and Shameless, when asked about Smollett, reply “Who?” The latest is the notorious CNN Moonbat, Don Lemon.
For those who don’t know who Don lemon is, blessed is your ignorance. Lemon is a commentator/propagandist for CNN. He is also black and homosexual and will remind you of this every 5 minutes. When the convicted felon, Jussie Smollett first made his accusation that Trump supporting, MAGA hat wearing white supremacists had attacked him. Lemon was all set to break out the Vasoline and let Smollett bump uglies with him.
Then whole thing began falling apart, and it came out that Smollett had faked the whole thing in order to save his acting career. Even then. Lemon was supportive of him. However, with the Smollett’s conviction Don Lemon quickly threw his “Best Butty” under the bus. Here are the details from The Post Millennial:
On Thursday, December 9th, CNN’s Don Lemon publicly condemned his old friend Jussie Smollett, calling him a liar and saying that the hoax he perpetrated made it worse for real victims of violent crimes.
Lemon had legal analyst Joey Jackson on as a guest, who supported the jury’s decision to convict Smollett, and Lemon agreed, saying that Smollett was caught in various lies.
Oh the betrayal! The heartbreak! There is no one so vicious as a pooftah who has had his trust betrayed by the one he “loved.”
Critics have noted that it has also been revealed that Lemon, who has been friends with Smollett for years, had repeatedly called him around the time of the initial incident, warning him that the Chicago police didn’t believe his story and were going to investigate further.
They didn’t believe him for a multitude of reasons. First, it was 2am. Second it was way below zero. Third, Chicago is not MAGA country. Third, who in their right mind would think a couple of white guys wearing MAGA hats would be walking around carrying bleach looking for black people to assault?
Of course, the Chicago Police had to investigate the original claim, and quickly found it to be laughable. After wasting hundreds of man hours investigating this bogus hate crime, not to mention the money they spent, they filed charges. This is when Kim Foxx, the State’s Attorney came to Smollett’s defense and tried to fix the case against him. When that blew up in her face, Smollett was put on trial and the rest, as they say, is history.
As to why Lemon was so quick to toss his pal under the bus, I think we just need to look at another CNN personality who was doing a lot of the same thing. I am speaking of the now former CNN host, Fredo Cuomo.
Don Lemon’s ex-colleague Chris Cuomo (who’s show famously butted up against each other and they would often dialog during the hand-over) has recently been fired by the network.
CNN cited similar behavior on Cuomo’s part as the reason for the firing. Cuomo had been providing inside information on the sexual harassment allegations that surfaced against his brother, Andrew Cuomo, who was forced to resign as Governor of New York State as a result.
This is, obviously, one of the few times that Don Lemon has decided he needs to “Cover his ass.” With the recent report of yet another pervert who work(ed) at CNN being arrested for pedophilia, I can see why Lemon is looking for any way to make his lovefest with Smollett disappear down the memory hole. Well, if the Board of Directors is serious about cleaning up CNN and trying to restore it’s credibility, then good old moonbat Don Lemon will be shown the door asap. It couldn’t happen to a nicer creep.
