Good day all. Senator Mittens Romney, (Utah-TransRepublican) lied and scammed his way into office four years ago. Soon thereafter, the people of Utah started getting a serious case of Voters Remorse. One of the reasons is Mittens blind hatred of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump.
Romney came to the attention of people when he managed to turn the Salt Lake City Olympics around and have it make a profit. He then ran for Governor of Massachusetts, winning the seat. He was a complete failure. One of his “Brilliant ideas” was the precursor to the hated Obamacare, what has become known as “Romneycare.
His poll numbers plummeted and rather then go down to the crushing defeat he so richly deserved, he decided to bravely run away to Utah. When Orin Hatch finally decided to retire after 500 years in the United States Senate, Romney decided to run for the seat. Even though people from the North East tried to warn the people of Utah about what a two-faced lying weasel Mittens is, they elected him to office.
They have been regretting that ever since. Mittens is the prototype of what I’ve called a “TransRepublican.” He claims to be a conservative Republican when he’s actually a Democrat. This is far worse than a RINO. Mittens is also a dyed in the wool Never Trumper and hates Donald Trump with a passion, so much so that he is the only Senator in American history to vote for the conviction of a president of his own party.
Finally, the people of Utah have had enough of Mittens and are letting him know it in no uncertain terms. The odds of Mittens Romney winning his primary, let alone the general election are, to put it mildly, poor. Now he is unsure of his future. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, the only Senator in history to vote to convict a president of his own party during an impeachment trial, said recently that he is not sure if he will seek reelection to the upper chamber in 2024, possibly sharing the ballot with former President Donald Trump if he runs for president again.
“I’m going to cross that bridge down the road,” Romney told The Hill after voting to confirm liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court. “I haven’t given a lot of attention yet.”
I don’t think he’s going to have to worry about crossing that bridge. I’m sure it’s going to be blown up in the TransRepublican’s face. (Update: The slimy TransRepublican did vote for the pedophile supporting bitch)
Romney, 75, who ran as the GOP nominee in 2012 against incumbent President Barack Obama, and was elected to the Senate in 2018, is a critic of Trump, voting twice in 2020 and 2021 to convict him during impeachment trials in that body.
Critic is a nice way of saying that he hates President Trump, and I suspect the feeling is mutual. You might recall the 2016 election when Donald Trump had sewn up the nomination. Mittens wanted to lead a floor fight to strip Trump of the nomination. When that failed, and Trump crushed Felonia von Pantsuit, Mittens decided to try sucking up and begged President-Elect Trump to be made Secretary of State.
He is also one of three Republicans to vote for the liberal Jackson, appointed by Democrat President Joe Biden to replace retiring liberal Justice Stephen Breyer.
Thereby demonstrating that he supports pedophiles, just like Jackson does. (That seems to be one of the unspoken planks in the Democrat’s platform. Sexualize and molest children)
According to The Hill, Romney could be challenged in a GOP primary by Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, who supported Trump’s claims of a tainted 2020 election, and former Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who was also a Trump ally.
I would suggest that Representative Chaffetz stay where he is and support Mr. Reyes. We need to think strategically, not just tactically.
“I think that’s why he is giving this some pause,” Brigham Young University professor emeritus of political science Richard Davis told The Hill. “He will have a tough race with the Republican nomination process.”
The way people feel about Mittens constant lies and betrayals, he would have a tough fight with a turnip.
A February poll by Utah’s Desert News and the Hinckley Institute of Politics found Romney enjoying a 51% job approval rating among both Republicans and Democrats, and a 54% approval rating from unaffiliated voters.
“Right now, Sen. Romney is one of those rare politicians who has support from across the political spectrum,” Jason Perry, director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah told the Desert News in February.
I question that poll. I’ve been hearing from people who live in Utah and they despise Mittens and regret voting for him the first time.
According to The Hill, despite a majority approving Romney’s job performance, his stance in supporting Jackson, and rebuking Trump in a state the former president won by more than 20 points in 2020, means he will not likely win the party’s nomination during the GOP convention.
Instead, he would have to collect signatures to bypass the convention and run in a primary.
I don’t know how the Utah primary system works. However, if Romney were to try and bypass it, I’m assuming that the Utah Republican Party would not be supporting him. You can also expect all sorts of interesting little facts to come out that weren’t made available the first time this slimy carpetbagging weasel ran the first time.
Mittens Romney is probably looking at the actual polls, and not the garbage that is put out by the Main Stream Manufacturers of Fake News. He is despised by a very large segment of the Utah voting population. He has show the people of Utah just where he stands, and he stands with the Deep State Uniparty Globalists. I suspect he’s going to once again pull the plug and bravely run away rather then suffering the humiliation of being rejected…again, and announce he won’t be seeking reelection.
