Good day all. Once again, President* Bumbles Dementia shows that he does not care about the average American. His Economic “policies” have been a complete disaster, and instead of reversing course, he’s intent on doubling down on stupid.
As you are all well aware, Dementia Joe has, at the instructions of his minders, declared war on the Energy sector. Of course, things quickly went to Hell in a hand basket. When Russia invaded the Ukraine, Bumbles Dementia started using that as his latest excuse for everything that’s gone wrong. Now he’s planning on using Russia as his reason to really screw things up even worse. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
President Joe Biden said Thursday that U.S. drivers will continue to pay record-high gas prices for “as long as it takes” to stop Russia’s war in Ukraine, acknowledging that consumers are unlikely to see relief at the pump anytime soon.
During a press conference Thursday following the NATO summit in Spain, Biden was asked how long people should expect to pay gas premiums because of Vladimir Putin’s war.
“As long as it takes,” Biden said, “so that Russia cannot in fact defeat Ukraine and move beyond Ukraine.”
“This is a critical, critical position for the world,” he added.
Biden and the Democratic Communazis have been using Russia as an excuse since Putin assumes he had the go ahead to conquer them from Vice President Blow job Harris. Never mind that the issues started when he was installed into office and started signing Executive Orders that are basically shutting down the energy sector.
Gas prices have hit record highs in recent months, part of soaring inflation that has badly hurt Biden’s approval ratings and sapped support for his spending programs. The national average for a gallon of regular gas is $4.86, according to AAA, up from $3.12 a year ago. Republicans have blamed the high prices on Biden’s green agenda and efforts to limit drilling for oil and gas.
The Republicans are correct since the Idiot started reversing all the good things the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump put into place.
Biden also expressed optimism about the Russian oil price cap plan proposed by G-7 nations earlier this week. The price cap scheme would seek to minimize Russia’s oil export revenue through restrictions on the insurance and shipping of its seaborne crude.
I haven’t reviewed this “plan,” however, if Bumbles Dementia thinks it’s a great idea, we should probably reject it out of hand as a failure looking for a place to fail miserably.
“We’ve delegated a commission, a group of our national security people, to sit down and work out that mechanism,” Biden said of the plan.
“We think it can be done,” he added. “We think it can be done to drive down the price of oil and would drive down the price of gasoline as well.”
Do you want to know what would aid in driving down the costs of gas and diesel? Drilling, pumping and refining the crude currently under the United States. The last I read, there is enough there to handle current needs for the next 400 years, and that is just the proven reserves. Of course, Mush for Brains and his minions are all pushing renewable energy that is more expensive, unreliable and flat out won’t cover our needs, ever.
Biden also touted steps he has taken at home to help drive down prices, including ordering the release of 180 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and asking Congress and states to enact gas tax holidays at the federal and state level.
That damn fool released all that oil and sent most of it to China. It did nothing for the American people. In fact, that moron may have actually harmed our national security with that stupid plan. The strategic oil reserves are meant to handle emergencies if, for some reason, we can’t get crude oil from our normal sources, especially in time of war.
“If we do these things,” he said, and if Congress and the states agree to pass gas tax holidays, then “it’s estimated … we could bring down the price of oil about $1 a gallon at the pump, in that range. And so we could have immediate relief in terms of [the] temporary elimination of the gas tax.”
No actually it won’t do any of those things. The gas taxes are supposed to be used to pay for roads and bridges. Where is that money going to come from? My guess is, more taxes and installing higher capacity printing presses at the Federal Reserve so they can’t print more worthless money.
“And so I think there’s a lot of things we can do, and that we will do,” Biden concluded. “But the bottom line, ultimately, the reason why gas prices are up, is because of Russia — Russia, Russia, Russia.”
Wrong again fathead. It’s not Russia, Russia Russia, it’s Biden, Biden, Biden. This is all your fault. As usual, you picked the absolute wrong thing to do, and then doubled down on it. Nowadays, people no longer think that Obama was mistaken when he remarked…
You have so badly screwed up, the Democrat Party is trying to figure out a way to get rid of you, sooner rather then later. Of course, that would mean President Blow Job Harris, and she is just as stupid and incompetent as Biden. On the flip side, she prefers adult men, not 12 year old girls, so there is that.
