Good day all. The Never Trumpers, the media and RINO’s have been trying to find a way to keep President Trump from running again in 2024. One of their ideas is to have Florida Governor Ron DeSantis run instead.
Governor DeSantis is very popular with the Ultra MAGA Deplorable base of the Republican Party. However, the last thing the base wants is to be forced to choose between the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, and the “One Hell of a Great Governor” Ron DeSantis. The answer for most was simple. The Trump/DeSantis ticket in 2024, followed by the Trump/DeSantis administration, and then the DeSantis Administration in 2029.
President Trump seems to like Governor DeSantis, and it looks like the feeling is mutual. They both seem to agree on most things, and unlike Pence, DeSantis isn’t a swamp creature. When asked about having Governor DeSantis on the Ticket, President Trump said he was open to the idea. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
Former President Donald Trump said his family is on board with the possibility of him running for president again in 2024.
“Well, they love our country, and they hate to see what’s happening,” Trump said of former first lady Melania Trump and son Barron Trump.
“Barron’s a young man, and Melania is a first lady who is really loved,” the former president said. “They love our country, so I think they’ll do what has to be done if we decide to go that way.”
The next question was who would be his running mate and would he be open to Governor DeSantis?
“Well, I get along with him,” Trump said of the Florida governor. “I was very responsible for his success because I endorsed him and he went up like a rocket ship.”
It also helps that, like President Trump, Ron DeSantis is a fighter and puts America first. There is little doubt that if Trump and DeSantis do join forces, the Democrats will be crushed in 2024. If, for whatever reason, President Trump decides to stand down and endorses Governor DeSantis as his successor, provided the Governor selects the right Vice President, the Democrats will be crushed just as flat.
The only issue is President Trump’s current residency. He has left the totalitarian state of New York and is a citizen of the free state of Florida, (Governor Ron DeSantis presiding), and there are constitutional issues. President Trump would need to move to another state and change his residency to avoid the potential constitutional issues.
If everything gels, and President Trump and Vice President DeSantis are sworn in January 20th, 2025, and once again Make America Great Again, look for VP DeSantis to run and win in 2028. Since he’s in his early 40’s, he has plenty of time to build a national reputation, one that would be diametrically opposite of one miserable failure, Kamala Harris. Stay tuned!
