Why is Lindsey Graham still in the Senate?

With the recent riots in the middle east allegedly set off by the burning of a Koran, several members of Congress have been saying that Terry Jones should be investigated and that he should be sanctioned in some way. One of the elected members of the United States Senate to say this is Lindsey Graham, (Rino-SC).

Senator Graham said recently that:

“Congress might need to explore the need to limit some forms of freedom of speech, in light of Tennessee pastor Terry Jones’ Quran burning, and how such actions result in enabling U.S. enemies.

“I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war,” Graham told CBS’ Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation” Sunday.

This isn’t the first foray into totalitarian government by this moron. We expect this from the current crop of liberal progressives, but Graham is a republican, (In Name Only), and should know better. His words show he has absolutely no grasp of the constitution, the 1st Amendment and that we should always consider the “feelings” of our enemies.

Senator Graham first came to the attention of Americans when he was pushing to grant full amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. This was an ill conceived plan by Pres. George W. Bush back in 2004 when he wanted to legalize the status of millions of criminal aliens. Graham was one of it’s biggest backers and was shocked, SHOCKED! When the voters told them to drop the idea.

Of course, he couldn’t take no for an answer and he’s pushing it again with his good friend and ally, Charles Schumer, (Commie-NY) Those two geniuses, are pushing it again. It’s doubtful the plan will go anywhere with the new crop of congresscritters sent in to clean house.

Graham, or as he is more commonly known, Lindsey Gramnesty, is well known for his stupidity and contempt for the average American. He was last up for reelection in 2006 and managed to sleaze his way back in. Hopefully, he will have a primary challenger and be sent off to the political knackers yards in 2012. He has been absolutely no help in trying to restore economic sanity and smaller government to the US. In fact he has been happily pushing for the expansion of government all along, which explains his latest moronic statement.

Someone with this level of ignorance of the Constitution and the history of the United States needs to be booted from office. Here’s hoping the good people of South Carolina will do the right thing…this time.
