Good day all. It appears that Speaker of the House, San Fran Nan Pelosi is finally seeing the writing on the wall and is looking for her exit strategy after the expected drubbing of the Democrats in November. If this happens, she will once again lose the speakers gavel. She also knows that she will never get it back, so now she’s looking for her next gig.
One job that seems to have attracted her attention is the ambassadorship to Italy. It seems that Dementia Joe hasn’t gotten around to selling that plumb job to the highest bidder yet. (There is no truth to the rumor that Hunter Biden is holding an auction on the position. I stand Corrected) Now there are reports that Pelosi is looking into becoming Ambassador to Italy as her retirement package. Here are the details from Fox Business News:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is planning her next move after an expected Republican victory in November.
Apparently, doing the honorable thing is not an option for her, considering this will be the second time she has blown out the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives.
Sources tell FOX Business that Pelosi wants President Biden to nominate her to become the next U.S. ambassador to Italy if the GOP takes the House majority in the midterm elections.
Biden is holding the spot for the speaker, sources say, which is one reason he has yet to fill the position since taking office. Speculation earlier this year that a Pelosi ally and former Wall Street executive wanted the job has shifted with the increasing likelihood that the GOP takes the majority.
I’m sure the Pelosi Insider Trading co-conspirator good friend and ally is fine with stepping aside, especially after that quite, private chat with one of Pelosi’s minions, who also happened to be holding a folder filled with unspecified documents.
There was no clarity yet on how a new Senate will react to a Pelosi nomination, but there was a mixed reaction to her in the role from sources this week.
If the Republicans do take control of the Senate, (No thanks to that scumbag McConnell), the reaction will be something like this if she is put up for confirmation:
So far, 101 Biden ambassador nominees have been confirmed by the Senate, but Biden has been slow to name ambassadors to several countries, including Italy. About a quarter (27%) of the 194 ambassador positions are currently without a Senate-confirmed official.
Ambassadorships to many countries, especially European countries, are generally handed out to high paying supporters of a President’s campaign. (Campaign donations) In Biden’s case, I suspect he’s waiting for things to cool down so he can send his bagman, Hoovernose, out to collect the “Special, undocumented campaign contributions.” This brings us back to Pelosi’s desire to be named the ambassador to Italy. The ambassador’s residence is exactly what she is looking for.
The ambassador’s residence, Villa Taverna, boasts a pool, private gardens and a three-story wine cellar, in Rome.
I followed the link to the State Department page on the residence. It’s exactly what a spoiled bitch like Pelosi would consider to be hers by right. However, there has been a response from Pelosi’s office. Now that the cat is out of the bag, Pelosi’s chances of moving into the residence have pretty much gone down in flames, and she is trying to cover he bony, wrinkled ass. Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office shot down speculation that she is angling to become the next U.S. ambassador to Italy after Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo said the California Democrat would be interested in the role should Republicans flip the House and reclaim the majority. Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill took aim at Bartiromo for reporting the rumor, asserting that she had not discussed the matter with anyone in the administration.
“The Speaker has no interest in this position and has not discussed it with anyone in the White House. This is the second time Maria Bartiromo has proceeded with reporting anonymous rumors about the Speaker’s future that have no merit,” he said in a statement. “And the second time she has failed to ask us for comment before airing or publishing this utter nonsense.”
As to who is lying about attempts to contact Pelosi’s office, I think I’ll believe Maria Baritormo over San Fran Nan’s crew of corruptocrats.
Bartiromo’s report, which says Fox Business reached out to Pelosi’s office, alleges that President Joe Biden is holding the position, which would require Senate confirmation, open for the speaker should she opt to leave Congress.
And, as I mentioned, now that the “Cat is out of the bag” as it were, she has no chance of being the ambassador to anything. It was always a longshot for her in any case. It would have required that the Communazis hold on and increase their control of the Senate so they could steamroll her confirmation through. If the Republicans do take control, (No thanks to Cocaine Mitch McConnell), then Pelosi’s chances aren’t just zero, they would be in negative numbers.
While talk of Pelosi’s next moves has begun to swirl in Washington, the California Democrat asserted in January that she was running for reelection.
Of course she is. Her district is a nice, rotten borough filled with junkies, criminals, the mentally ill and the homeless, none of whom San Fran Nan ever sees since she’s in a gated community with armed guards to keep the riff raff out. She basically owns that seat until they finally carry her out of the House of Representatives in a body bag.
Her leadership position however, that is another matter and explains why she might be looking at an exit strategy that is suitable to her ideas of personal privilege. Since Italy is now off the table, perhaps she might consider the ambassadorship to Rwanda. I’m sure that she would be a perfect fit.
