Good day all. Back in 2016, during the Republican Primaries, Jeb Bush was meant to be the “Heir Apparent and handed the GOP nomination, and then lose gracefully to Felonia von Pantsuit. As we know, it didn’t actually work out that way.
One of the disasters of his campaign was his speeches going over like a lead balloon. It one point, when he paused during a speech to allow for the applause he anticipated, there was nothing but dead silence. Rather then a quick and humorous ad lib, Jeb begged the audience to “Please clap.”
Now it seems that San Fran Nan Pelosi was also forced to “nudge” a crowd into applauding during a public event of the fraudulently named “Inflation Reduction Act.” Here are the details from Fox News:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi struggled with her audience Tuesday while giving a speech on the White House lawn to celebrate President Biden’s signing of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Appearing alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Pelosi said the “landmark law,” which Biden signed last month, is “driving down costs for kitchen table items for America’s working families.”
“Mr. President, thank you for unifying and inspiring a vision of a stronger, fairer, safer future for all our children. Your extraordinary leadership has made this glorious day possible,” Pelosi said.
That law is, as always for anything the Democratic Communazis force down America’s throat, doing the exact opposite of what they claim it will do. As I understand it, when these Jurassic Politicians were doing their “victory” dance, the announcements were coming out that inflation had again gone over 8% the previous month. I have a suspicion that the audience either knew this or that they knew what a load of horseshit the law was.
After a brief moment of silence, Pelosi told the audience “that’s an applause line,” eliciting claps from the spectators.
“And let us salute Leader Schumer (and) his colleagues in the Senate for their extraordinary leadership and the success in bringing this bill to the floor,” Pelosi said.
Schumer then interjected with: “That’s an applause line!”
This was in front of what was supposed to be a “Friendly” crowd. That they couldn’t get the people to applaud without being instructed to should be sending up signal flares all over the Beltway Swamp.
President Biden later addressed the crowd to celebrate last month’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, even as a new government report showed how hard it could be to bring surging prices down near pre-pandemic levels.
Those flaming idiots are the reason the economy is crashing and burning in the first place.
Tuesday’s economic report — inflation at 8.3% year-to-year, though just 0.1% from July to August — was a harsh reminder of how difficult it might be to hit the Federal Reserve’s inflation target of 2% a year. Even as gasoline prices have declined since June, the costs of housing and food remain especially high in a way that suggests further Fed rate hikes and more economic pain to bring down prices.
Home mortgage rates are already hitting 6% and they are going to go a lot higher. That will bring new home sales and construction to a screeching halt. There is the potential for a national rail strike starting on Friday and that will further impact the supply chain problems that Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttplug, can’t be bothered to deal with. Well, the midterm elections are coming and it will be interesting to see if people will vote their pocketbooks, be be stupid and vote for the Democrats. If it’s the latter, maybe Pelosi will get people who know when they are supposed to clap and she won’t have to remind them.
