Cocaine Mitch working hard to preserve his position and privilege

Good day all. I’ve written before regarding the apparent desire of Cocaine Mitch McConnell’s willingness to let the Democrats control the Senate as long as he keeps his position and power. Recently, he pulled his PAC’s money and resources from Blake Masters in Arizona.

The reason he did this was to protect his position as the Republican minority leader. Masters, and many of the other new people running for the Senate don’t like McConnell and if elected, will probably remove him as the minority or majority leader in the Senate. This has led Cocaine Mitch to not only pull money from close races, but throw money at those who are also Deep State RINO’s who will back McConnell’s continued role in the leadership. Here are the details from The Federalist:

Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s super PAC dropped nearly $12 million in new spending on competitive races in key battlegrounds — but none of that spending is for one of the most competitive races of all: GOP rookie Blake Masters versus Democrat incumbent Mark Kelly in Arizona.

McConnell’s allies in Georgia, North Carolina, New Hampshire, and Alaska will each claim a portion of the pot from the Kentucky lawmaker’s Senate Leadership Fund, according to new numbers out Tuesday, while Arizona venture capitalist Masters remains abandoned by the top elected Republican in the country.

I understand that a lot of the shortfall is being made up by other Republicans and the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, is also helping out. Regarding New Hampshire, on the Senate side we have Don Bolduc, and he is both a supporter of President Trump and the MAGA platform. I don’t see him supporting Cocaine Mitch’s plan to remain in his leadership position.

In Alaska, GOP incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski will receive nearly $1 million in support from McConnell’s PAC as she fends off a competitive challenge from Republican Kelly Tshibaka, who is running with an endorsement from former President Donald Trump.

From what I understand, the only reason Murkowski is on the ballot is due to the scam known as Ranked Choice voting. If that hadn’t been put in place, she would have been crushed in the primary. The system is in place solely to protect Murkowski’s seat in the Senate. She will also vote to keep Cocaine Mitch as the leader of the caucus for assorted bribes to be paid later.

The cash infusion to Alaska comes after recent polling in the race shows Murkowski in a dead heat to keep her seat against Tshibaka, who has pledged not to support McConnell for another term in Senate leadership.

The additional support for Murkowski also comes after McConnell canceled $1.7 million in Alaska ad buys and pulled $8 million from Masters in Arizona last month. The decision to do both at the same time only served as a smokescreen to hide McConnell’s true Senate ambitions: Maintain a minority he can control instead of an anti-establishment majority that threatens his leadership perch.

That is McConnell. He is a classic example of why we need term limits, and probably the repeal of the 17th Amendment. He is yet another of Washington’s Jurassic Politicians who have long since walked away from their duties to their constituents, their states and to the nation at large. If the Democrats maintain and increase their control of congress, McConnell is fine with that.

As for what the rest of the country wants? His attitude is simple. Shut up and do as we tell you or the FBI will pay you a visit and kill you. Unfortunately for Cocaine Mitch, others in the Senate and the Republican party have just about had it with him.

Florida Sen. Rick Scott, who chairs the NRSC, has publicly clashed with McConnell after the Senate leader in charge of reclaiming the majority undermined GOP chances by complaining about “candidate quality.”

I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate,” McConnell said as Senate candidates struggle in key states. “Senate races are just different, they’re statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.”

McConnell was rightfully reamed for that comment by the GOP.

Scott defended the slate of GOP recruits in an op-ed for the Washington Examiner shortly after McConnell’s comments.

We have great candidates with incredible backgrounds and ideas to make our country better,” Scott wrote. “Do I wish they had more money than their Democratic opponent? Of course. But we have great candidates, chosen by the voters in their states, and our job is to help each one of them win.”

The problem with this is that Cocaine Mitch doesn’t want them to win unless they swear what amounts to an Oath of Fealty to him.

While Scott has sought to boost Masters with the NRSC, the $10 million it dumped into the race remains far short of the $18 million McConnell pulled. Other groups have begun to step up, including an independent super PAC affiliated with Heritage Action for America, which announced $3.5 million to support Masters earlier this month.

I haven’t followed the race in Arizona, but that state was one of the ones that had some major issues with the 2020 vote tallies. Maricopa County authorities did everything they could to bury some very interesting details of what may have happened and did everything they could to not cooperate with the legislature’s investigation of the election results.

How all this might affect the 2022 election? I have no idea. Still, getting rid of Mark Kelly should be one of the major priorities of every Republican. That McConnell would rather have him win tells you all you need about Mitch McConnell. Hopefully, the Republicans do take control of the Senate and by a large majority. If that happens, then there is a good chance that McConnell will be stripped of his position, his office and be stuffed in a broom closet until his term is up, or he dies. (He’s in his 80’s now)
