Liberals in full panic mode. Elon Musk says “Fine, I’ll buy Twitter”

Good day all. The on again, off again sale of Twitter to Elon Musk appears to be on again, and the usual suspects on the left are once again melting down, tearing their hair out, gouging their eyes and proclaiming that the End of Days is upon us.

Elon Musk has a large twitter following, and has grown rather annoyed with the Twitlers censoring speech they don’t like. He first bought about 9% of the company, and when the Twitler management tried to play games to keep him from improving things, he announced he was ready to buy out Twitter and take it private.

To say that the Progressives, liberals, and other assorted moonbats were upset at this would be an understatement. Many said they would quit Twitter if Musk took over and started reactivating all the accounts the Twitler management had killed, starting with the Greatest President of the 21^st Century, Donald Trump. (Trump has said “Thanks but no thanks. Come see me on Truth Social)

Musk and his team then started digging into the number of actual accounts on Twitter, and discovered that the number of bot and spam accounts was significantly higher then Twitler management claimed. He then announced he was backing out of the deal. This led to lawsuits and more lawsuits. Tuesday, October 4^th, Elon Musk announced, “Fine, I’ll buy the damn platform.” (Paraphrasing here people) Here are the details from Fox News:

Members of the media renewed their anger against billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk on Tuesday after reports showed him closing his deal to officially buy Twitter.

Fox Business reported Twitter intended to close the deal for Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of the social media company at $54.20 per share, the original offer Musk made in April. Shares from Twitter stock quickly soared after the announcement which also received approval from Twitter shareholders.

Well, that’s good for the shareholders, They will make some money on this junk stock. (Twitter’s business model has always been…interesting)

Reporters and journalists, however, expressed doubts and even fears about Musk’s purchase.

NBC News reporter Ben Collins notably penned a lengthy Twitter thread describing how Musk’s Twitter purchase could affect the 2022 midterm elections.

“For those of you asking: Yes, I do think this site can and will change pretty dramatically if Musk gets full control over it. No, there is no immediate replacement. If it gets done early enough, based on the people he’s aligned with, yes, it could actually affect midterms,” Collins wrote.

Well how about that? A Fake News manufacturer actually reporting actual news! If the deal closes In time and Musk’s team does take over prior to the election, then all those conservative accounts that have been suspended or degraded will be reopened. Then people will have different opinions and information that doesn’t toe the Progressive line. Why, it’s possible that people might actually decide things on their own without their betters telling them how to think! The horror!

Others also agreed with Collins on the risk posed by Musk purchasing Twitter.

“Be afraid, be actually afraid,” former Politico Magazine editor Garrett M. Graff wrote.

So, will this year’s favorite Halloween mask be one of Elon Musk? I can see it now. A child wearing a Musk mask and holding a sign that says “New Owner of Twitter.” It would send the liberals running for the hills screaming in abject terror.

Euronews correspondent Shona Murray tweeted, “The end of Twitter as we know it is nigh.”

“Huge changes anticipated on this bird app after it goes private. Guardrails will be dropped, misinfo & conspiracy theories will thrive. No functional alternatives available, this is it: a complete destruction of the global public square. Been nice y’all,” BBC journalist Dickens Olewe wrote.

Why does all this angst sound so families? Oh, I know! This is the exact same crap the Commies, Nazis, Fascists, Progressives, Liberals and Democrats, (But I’m repeating myself…again), were shouting out when Musk announced his plans to buy out Twitter last spring.

Other reporters and correspondents pushed fears and concerns ranging from threats to democracy, free speech and religious freedom.

This should be amusing. These moonbats despise free speech and religious freedom.

“If you think Elon Musk giving Trump, Project Veritas and Alex Jones a bigger social platform to manipulate will benefit the future of free speech, you’re totally delusional,” Southern Poverty Law Center senior investigative reporter Michael Edison Hayden tweeted.

The hits against Musk finally buying Twitter go on and on from people who make a mockery of Free Speech and the free exchange of ideas. What they wanted, and the Twitler people have provided, was a gigantic safe space bubble where any ideas that they didn’t like were actively suppressed.

When the deal looked like it was going to fall through, the left celebrated, and the Twitlers promptly began suppressing conservatives and anyone who said anything they didn’t want to hear. When the court actions began, a lot of these morons and moonbats assumed that Musk would be forced to pay some sort of penalty and then they could continue on as before. I have to assume that Musk decided that if he was going to have to pay something, he might as well go for the whole shebang. As for all the poor little snowflakes? I have just one thing to say.
