DoJ no longer abides by the Constitution, arrests pro-life protesters

Good day all. Since the initial leak of the Dobbs decision from the Supreme Court, militant pro-abortion protesters have started resorting to flat out terrorism against pro-life individuals, groups and clinics. There have been at least 17 incidents of arson and vandalism against health care clinics that provide services to pregnant women and new mothers. Instead, under the corrupt Attorney General, Merrick Garland, the FBI has been going after anyone who opposes abortion.

The most recent incident happened in Tennessee where 11 pro-life activists were arrested for allegedly blocking access to an abortion clinic. Here are the details from Fox News:

The Justice Department on Wednesday indicted 11 pro-life activists who investigators said blocked access to a Tennessee abortion clinic during a protest, saying they violated the FACE Act.

The activists, according to the indictment, organized an event blockading an abortion clinic near Nashville earlier this year. The DOJ alleges the group physically prevented both employees of the clinic and at least one would-be patient from entering the building in early March. The federal FACE Act prohibits demonstrators from blocking access to abortion clinics.

I don’t have any first hand information of what happened, but considering the current state of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, I take anything the say with a truckload of salt. I looked up the actual statute and found this on Wikipedia. From what I’m reading, it appears that the act is meant to deal with people who violently block people from accessing a clinic, such as grabbing and holding them. (That is technically assault and battery) From what the Fox News article said, I’m not so sure this happened. This facts will come out eventually.

Those charged with conspiracy face up to 11 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Those charged with FACE Act violations face up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. The DOJ alleges the protesters planned a “blockade” at the Carafem Health Center Clinic and “blocked the clinic’s entry doors and prevented a patient and an employee from entering.”

This law has not really been tested in court as near as I can determine from the Wikipedia article. Now I have no problem with putting violent people in jail, since they are hurting people. However, if you do not touch someone in the course of the protest, even if you are blocking a door, then putting someone in a federal prison for 11 years crosses any number of lines. I suspect that if this proceeds, it’s going to hit the Supreme Court.

The DOJ also states that Boyd livestreamed the incident on social media and that footage showed members of the group “attempting to engage a patient and her companion as Boyd told his livestream audience that the patient was a ‘mom coming to kill her baby.’”

While I do have some problems with his wording, attempting to engage someone in conversation, provided you make no threats or lay hands on them may come under protected speech under the 1st Amendment. However, this is the Department of (In)Justice and anyone who opposes the regime will be punished.

The charges come weeks after the FBI raided the home of a Catholic pro-life activist in Pennsylvania, alleging that he had assaulted a man outside an abortion clinic earlier this year. Mark Houck, 48, woke to find more than a dozen FBI agents outside his family’s home with their guns drawn on Sept. 23.

That one is blowing up in the DoJ’s face. The local District Attorney and judicial system have already said that there is no “There” there. Both the criminal and civil cases were dropped or dismissed. There is some question on whether or not the alleged “victim” approached the DoJ or if they just decided to make an example of another “Enemy of the state.”

While President Biden’s DOJ has aggressively prosecuted pro-life activists, it has made no arrests in the at least 17 incidents of vandalism and arson against pro-life clinics committed by the radical abortion group “Jane’s Revenge.”

From appearances, not only are they not investigating these cases, they may be aiding the vandals and arsonists. There is a report that one of the pregnancy centers that was fire bombed provided the security footage to the FBI. They have not only made any arrests, when the clinic tried to get the security footage back, the FBI flat out refused. The reason has nothing to do with the criminal investigation.

Tucker Carlson asked he Rev. James Harden is CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services , “Were you really told that you could not have your own surveillance tapes back, because those tapes of a firebombing of your property might inspire Right-wing terrorism?” Harden answered simply, “Yes,” and explained that CompassCare is now suing to try to get the tapes back.

That is another story and is on PJMedia. What that story, the accusations against the 11 pro-life protesters and Mark Houck show is that the DoJ no longer can be looked on as protecting the rights of the people. They are an active threat to the American people. The new congress, in 2023, if the midterm election goes as expected, will be investigating the Department of Justice and the actions of the FBI.

Frankly, I’m of the opinion that there is no reforming these agencies. The FBI is a total loss now and should be disbanded, all personnel terminated from government employment and stripped of any security clearances. The DoJ? It needs to be defunded, and everyone shown the door. The office of Attorney General is constitutionally mandated, however I don’t think anything below the AG is. Fire everyone, impeach and remove Garland and start all over. It’s the only way.
