Good day all. Once upon a time, John “The Stache” Bolton was a highly respected man in Washington. However, those days came to an end when his advice to President Trump to foreign policy problems generally involved explosions.
He was finally fired by the Greatest President of the 21st Century, and instead of just learning from his mistakes, continued making them all over again. Now he has decided that what this country really needs is him with his finger on the nuclear button. He wants to run for president. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Former national security adviser John Bolton says he will run for the Republican presidential nomination, according to “Good Morning Britain.”
“Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton has told us that he will run for US President in a bid to stop his former boss from getting the nomination,” the British television show tweeted Friday morning.
Excuse me? He made this announcement on a British show and not on an American network? I assume he’s working on his Globalist credentials. He certainly isn’t one to put America first.
In a report introducing a Friday, (January 6th) interview with Bolton, the show said: “John Bolton has exclusively told ‘Good Morning Britain’ he wants to become the next president of the United States.”
And I want to wake up and see Biden and the entire Democrat party dragged away in chains. That isn’t happening either.
In the video clip tweeted by the show, Bolton is asked by “Good Morning Britain” what a John Bolton America would look like if he was the commander in chief.
Considering Bomb them all Bolton’s preferred way of doing things?
“I would get in to win the nomination,” he said. “And I would do it primarily on the basis that we need a much stronger foreign policy. And I think it is important that it is understood, not just in Moscow, but is understood in places like Beijing — that unprovoked aggression against your neighbors is not something the United States and its allies would tolerate.”
Yep! Just as I thought. He plans on getting back into the business of endless, meaningless wars, and starting a potential nuclear war with Russia.
Commenting on Trump’s influence in the Republican Party, Bolton said: “I think Trump support within the party itself is in terminal decline.”
Bolton said during a televised interview Sunday he “is prepared to get into the race” for president in 2024 to stop his former boss.
“I think to be a presidential candidate you can’t simply say I support the Constitution; you have to say I would oppose people who would undercut it,” Bolton told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “We used to have a thing in the House of Representatives called the House Un-American Affairs Committee. I think when you challenge the Constitution itself the way Trump himself has done, that is un-American. I’m prepared to get in the race.”
Bolton’s day is long past. He’s one of the old line Cold Warriors who can’t understand that the world has changed, along with the American People. We don’t want to be “Team America, World Police” any longer. (Frankly, we never wanted it, we just got stuck with it) His stint as Trump’s National Security Advisor was a disaster.
What really ticked off Bolton was President Trump calling off an air strike on Iran after they fired missiles at an American Base that didn’t do any real damage. Trump asked a question that all President should ask. How many people is this going to kill?
When he was told it would pretty much wipe out a battalion of Iranian Air Defense troops, who had done nothing to the United States, Trump turned the bombers around and went in a different direction. (Such as taking out the general in command of the Iranian Quds terrorist forces with a drone)
Bolton has no chance of being president. He should have faded away years ago. Instead, his ego is writing checks he can’t cash. He’s going to do about as well as Kamala Harris did in the Primaries.
