First they came for your cars, then your stoves, now they want your coffee!

Good day all. I am sitting here, just starting on my second cup of coffee when I saw that the fanatics from the Church of Global Warming and Climate Change has released yet another study designed to enslave the average person under the yoke of the Ruling Elites.

What, pray tell, are they trying to do now you ask? They want to ban coffee because it contributes to climate change.

This comes from another “Study” from a bunch of phony tea drinking “Researchers” sucking down someone’s grant money. Here are the details from the New York Post:

Canadian researchers analyzed coffee’s “contribution to climate change” in a piece published in early January and suggested people moderate their consumption of the popular drink as a part of the solution.

Researchers Luciano Rodrigues Viana, Charles Marty, Jean-François Boucher and Pierre-Luc Dessureault wrote in an analysis published in The Conversation that pollution from preparing coffee was “just the tip of the iceberg.”

“Limiting your contribution to climate change requires an adapted diet, and coffee is no exception. Choosing a mode of coffee preparation that emits less GHGs (greenhouse gases) and moderating your consumption are part of the solution,” the researchers at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi wrote. 

No one comes between me and my coffee! Also, you incompetent fraud, in case you hadn’t noticed, coffee comes from plants. Plants like carbon dioxide. It helps them grow and make things like more coffee.

The study also found that using coffee pods to brew coffee contributed less to the carbon footprint than brewing coffee with a traditional filter. 

Ick. My Real World Job use machines with pods. I rarely drink it. Yes, it’s an OK caffeine delivery device, but it just doesn’t taste as good as freshly made in a coffee pot. It also rations the amount of the dark, precious fluid it will deliver, unlike a traditional coffee maker with a large pot.

“Our analysis clearly showed that traditional filter coffee has the highest carbon footprint, mainly because a greater quantity of coffee powder is used to produce the amount of coffee. This process also consumes more electricity to heat the water and keep it warm,” the researchers wrote.

People don’t use “Coffee Powder” you damn tea drinker, they use ground coffee. Some prefer course ground, others fine ground. It sound to me that you may have been indulging in Colombia’s other well known produce, Colombian Marching powder, aka Cocaine.

They found that instant coffee was the most environmentally sound. 

OK, that’s it! Someone get the torches and pitchforks!

Coffee production contributed more to total emissions than coffee preparation, according to the analysis.

“This mechanization, irrigation and use of nitrous oxide-emitting fertilizers — the production of which requires large quantities of natural gas — greatly contribute to coffee’s carbon footprint,” the researchers said. 

Allow me to introduce you to Juan Valdez. Juan is the Hero of coffee drinkers around the world. You must hate Juan and want him and his family to starve. How typical of people of you limited world view and political outlook.

Studies released last year found that drinking one to two cups of coffee a day may benefit heart health. The American College of Cardiology found in a study released in March 2022 that coffee was associated with a reduced risk of heart disease and dangerous heart rhythms. 

So these Canadian Communists also want to murder people by preventing them from from using a cheap and tasty form of self medication that provides health benefits? How unsurprising of them. I hope not one cent of American Taxpayer fund went into this joke of a study. Since these losers are in Canada, I assume it was pad for by Castro’s boy, Trudeau. Now if you will excuse me, my fresh pot of coffee awaits.
