Good day all. One of the most useless creatures on Earth, Senator Lindsey Graham, (TransRepublican-SC), is going to take a taxpayer funded vacation to the Dark Continent with 5 other Democrats. This is, of course, a “Fact Finding” Mission.
Now you would think that a fact finding mission would probably better spent in places like the Ukraine to determine how our money is being spent reducing the Russian population. You would be wrong. Here are the details from the Daily Fetched:
Sen. Lindsey Graham will enjoy a taxpayer-funded safari trip to Africa with five Senate Democrats, according to reports. The trip will include visits to the nations of Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, and Morocco.
Now what the Hell facts need finding in these countries? Frankly, no one cares about them.
The excursion appears to be under the guise of conducting “fact-finding missions, focused on the fight against HIV/AIDS through site visits, meetings/briefings, and informal substantive meals designed to provide a frontline look at the impact of U.S. Government investments in PEPFAR [U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief],” an itinerary obtained by Punchbowl News revealed.
Funny, I didn’t know the “Front Line” of all this included 5 star hotels and visits to assorted tourist locations. These “Worthies” are certainly not going to be visiting any hospitals or other medical facilities unless it’s for a photo op.
Graham will be joined by Democrat senators: Chris Coons (D-DE), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Martin Heinrich, and Bob Menendez (D-NJ).
I see we have a broad collection of medical professionals here. I understand that Menendez specializes in Teen Gynocology.
Although none of the senators appear to have a history in medicine, Coons was named an Honorary Doctor in Humane Letters by Delaware State University in 2018.
Cindy McCain, who serves as the U.S. ambassador to the U.N. food and agriculture agencies, will join “CODEL,” an acronym for taxpayer-funded excursions for members of Congress.
I suspect she will be used as “cover” for the safari vacation. About the only thing she might do that is actually constructive will be making sure Menendez keeps it in his pants, or at least his “Medical Investigations” will be with “subjects” above the age of consent. As to where these “Congressional Junketeers fact finders will be gathering their facts?
On their “fact-finding mission,” the American officials will enjoy a safari this week and visit Victoria Falls, one of the world’s largest waterfalls on the Zambezi River in southern Africa.
“On Friday, the group will head to Botswana, where the itinerary says the recommended attire is ‘rugged casual,’” Punchbowl reported.
I’m sure they will find out a lot regarding HIV and the African medical system while trying not to get soaked from the Falls.
Friday and Saturday are packed with ‘conservation observations,’ which appear to be safari trips,” the outlet added.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and a pack of hungry lions will eat Graham and the others. I know the hyenas won’t bother them. Professional courtesy and all.
The CODEL’s final day will be spent without official business in Casablanca before returning to the U.S. and returning to work in Washington, DC.
Returning to work? That must have been a Freudian Slip by the writer of the Daily Fetched piece. I mean, isn’t this supposed to be a working investigation and all?
Graham and the 5 other liberals all have the same uniparty mindset. They are privileged princes and as such, are entitled to whatever they want at the expense of the serfs and peons. Graham managed to slime his way back into a third term by clinging to President Trump’s leg like a two year old, so we’re stuck with him for a while.
I’m hoping that someone is making notes regarding all of the little wimp’s antics over the last few years, especially with his demands to the capital police to open fire on unarmed protesters. He and the others are everything that is wrong with this country. Now if only there was a way to stick Graham and the others for the bills they intend to force the taxpayers to cover…
