DoJ continuing to protect Hunter Biden, shuts down IRS investigation

Good day all. News broke Monday, May 15th, that the entire IRS investigation team looking into Hunter Biden’s activities had been removed from the case. This was done on instructions from the Garland Department of (In)Justice.

The investigation into Hunter Biden’s activities and potential law breaking has been going on for, to be blunt, far to long. At the very least, they have him on violating gun laws. The infamous laptop has also provided a wealth if information on his financial games, and this is now leading to the potential of removing the Big Guy, Joe Biden.

Instead of doing their jobs, the DoJ under Garland has been working overtime to suppress the investigations into the Biden Crime Family. This latest move is just one more attempt to stave off what is looking inevitable. Joe Biden being forced from office. Here are the details from the New York Post:

The IRS on Monday removed the “entire investigative team” from its long-running tax fraud probe of first son Hunter Biden in alleged retaliation against the whistleblower who recently contacted Congress to allege a cover-up in the case, The Post has learned.

As I recall, there are actual laws on the books regarding retaliating against a whistleblower. Of course, we all know that the laws mean nothing to this regime of corrupt incompetents.

The purge allegedly was done on the orders of the Justice Department, the whistleblower’s attorneys informed congressional leaders in a letter.

Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress. He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice,” Mark Lytle and Tristan Leavitt wrote.

According to the story in the Post, the whistleblower has NOT named Hoovernose Biden as the target, or anyone else for that matter. The whistleblower came forward and spoke to Congress because he saw the case being swept under the rug.

On April 27, 2023, IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel appeared before the House Committee on Ways and Means. He testified: ‘I can say without any hesitation there will be no retaliation for anyone making an allegation or a call to a whistleblower hotline.’ However, this move is clearly retaliatory and may also constitute obstruction of a congressional inquiry,” the lawyers went on.

Our client has a right to make disclosures to Congress … He is protected by 5 U.S.C. § 2302 from retaliatory personnel actions — including receiving a ‘significant change in duties, responsibilities, or working conditions’ (which this clearly is) because of his disclosures to Congress.

Any attempt by any government official to prevent a federal employee from furnishing information to Congress is also a direct violation of longstanding appropriations restriction. Furthermore, 18 U.S.C. § 1505 makes it a crime to obstruct an investigation of Congress,” Lytle and Leavitt wrote.

As I said before, this maladministration is the most corrupt as well as incompetent administration in a century or more. The most recent one we think of is the Nixon Administration and the whole Watergate mess. That was more about power than greed, (Nixon and, as far as I can remember the people around him), and no one was profiting from it. All the money that was swirling about was meant to put Nixon back in the White House for a second term.

You have to go back to Harding’s administration for actual greed and corruption, and before that, I think you have to go back to the Grant administration. In both of those cases, neither President Harding or President Grant were personally profiting from their underlings corruption. Here, it’s beginning to look like Joe Biden sold his office as Vice President and may have continued to do so as President.

The whistleblower was ousted from the investigation, along with an unknown number of subordinates, at roughly the same time as the Justice Department released a long-awaited report by special counsel John Durham detailing bias in the FBI’s investigation of former President Donald Trump’s alleged links to Russia.

Interesting that these two things happened on a week day and not on the traditional Friday. Friday’s are when things that might hurt the administration are released since no one will be paying attention to them. Everyone was looking at the Durham Report instead of the DoJ cover up.

The IRS whistleblower emerged last month when Lytle informed Congress that his client wanted to share information about “preferential treatment” in the Hunter Biden case and alleged false testimony to Congress by Attorney General Merrick Garland, who repeatedly assured lawmakers that Delaware US Attorney David Weiss can unilaterally make charging decisions in the investigation.

There is a lot to unpack of course, and a growing number of people are coming to the opinion that Dementia Joe will either pardon Hoovernose, or the whole thing is going to be buried. The last thing Garland and all the rest want is proof that Joe Biden sold his office. If that is shown to be true, (And I am of the opinion it is), he will be forced out of office. Almost none of the Democrats want that to happen, with one notable exception.

The scandal has now reached the “Gate” levels in people’s awareness. Welcome to #Bidengate ladies and gentlemen. Place your bets on what happens next.
