Good day all. One of the things the worst President* in American History has been doing is working to destroy the energy sector in the United States. Part of this is to force the usage of windmills and solar panels to generate power. As such, you would think the maladministration would be helping American solar Panel manufacturers. You would be sadly mistaken.
Recently, Congress passed a bill to protect American solar panel manufacturers from the predatory tactics of the People’s Republic of China. This was sent to Biden’s desk for his signature. Instead, he once again showed where his loyalties lay and it isn’t with the United States of America. Here are the details from Fox News:
President Joe Biden vetoed a bipartisan resolution Tuesday that would have reversed his executive action last year in which he ordered the Department of Commerce not to enforce tariffs on Chinese solar panel manufacturers for two years.
Well, it looks like the check cleared on the pain by numbers pictures China anonymously bought. I’m sure the Big Guy liked the 10% bump in his bank account, once it had been laundered through all those shell companies he had set up.
Biden explained that the legislation, which recently passed the House and Senate with Democrat support, “bets against American innovation.”
Last year, Biden implemented the 24-month moratorium on the enforcement of solar panel anti-circumvention tariffs designed to protect U.S. companies, a move the White House said would facilitate investment in domestic solar panel production capabilities.
I’m not certain, but I suspect this was yet another item that was originally set up by the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, so it’s no surprise that China Joe would put a stop to it.
“Passage of this resolution bets against American innovation,” Biden said in a statement Tuesday. “It would undermine these efforts and create deep uncertainty for American businesses and workers in the solar industry. Therefore, I am vetoing this resolution.”
Biden added that he doesn’t “intend to” extend the tariff suspension when the 24-month moratorium expires in June 2024.
Of course not! That would annoy his master, Xi Jinping, the Communist king of China.
The president’s executive action in June 2022 came after the Commerce Department said months earlier that it would investigate whether Chinese manufacturers were routing solar panels through countries in Southeast Asia to avoid U.S. tariffs. And in December, the agency published its preliminary findings in which it showed that four large solar companies had routed products through Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam to circumvent duties.
It was this report that led to Congress passing the bill, and with both sides of the aisle in general agreement, to force China Joe to reinstate the tariffs.. Unfortunately, it didn’t pass with a veto proof majority and you know the Democrats in Congress will never go against Biden, no matter how corrupt and incompetent he is. It won’t matter that overturning his veto would probably be both popular and the right thing to do.
“I am disappointed that President Biden vetoed this important legislation,” Kildee said Tuesday. “Failing to stand up to those who engage in unfair trade practices hurts American workers and manufacturers. Our workers and businesses will never be able to compete globally unless we hold those who violate U.S. trade laws accountable.”
What makes you think the Biden Maladministration has any interest in helping American workers? That psychopath flat out doesn’t care and never has. Besides, the Chicom government pays better.
Overall, Chinese companies control a more than 80% share in the global solar panel industry, controlling the supply chain in all the manufacturing stages of the product, according to the International Energy Agency. The Chinese solar industry has been tied to forced labor in China’s Xinjiang province.
There’s another reason Biden and the Democrats won’t do anything. They have no problem with slavery.
The resolution was endorsed by pro-tariff groups like the Coalition for a Prosperous America and human rights groups like the Uyghur Human Rights Project. Environmental groups and green energy organizations, including the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), opposed it.
I’m not surprised that the SEIA opposes the tariffs. They only care about the cheapest supplies they can get. The Green groups along with the Envirowhackos are all in and Communism and Fascism and anything that helps their master gain control of the world, they’re all in on.
“This action is a reaffirmation of the administration’s commitment to business certainty in the clean energy sector, and a signal to companies to continue creating jobs, building domestic manufacturing capacity and investing in American communities,” Abigail Ross Hopper, SEIA’s president and CEO, said in response to Biden’s veto Tuesday.
Explain again how letting a hostile foreign power undercut American manufacturers helps create jobs? Oh wait, It doesn’t! This is just outsourcing to the country with the cheapest labor costs and slaves don’t cost a lot of money. Just food, water some basic housing and when you burn them out, you can always get more. Don’t you love how Progressives support the same plantation system that was finally destroyed in 1865?
This is just more of the same from the most corrupt, incompetent maladministration in American history. Some may say that the Nixon administration was corrupt, but they were generally competent. The Carter administration was incompetent, but not that corrupt. The Biden Maladministration has managed to be both. Now the only question remains, how much did the Chicom government pay the Biden Crime Family for this gift?
