Good day all. Mittens Romney is a first term senator from the state of Utah. Before that, he was a single term governor of Massachusetts. He also threw away the 2012 presidential election and insured the reelection of the second worst president in American History, Barack Obama. Since taking office as a senator, Mittens has displayed his true colors. He is the classic definition of TransRepublican.

He was a never Trumper back in 2016 where he tried to get the Republican Convention to deny Donald Trump the nomination. When President Trump crushed Felonia von Pantsuit, Romney sucked around for a cabinet post. (I think he was aiming for Secretary of State). President Trump politely told him to go pound sand.

After that, he took up carpet bagging and ran as the replacement for Orrin Hatch when he retired. People who know what a two timing, backstabbing weasel he is tried to warn the residents of Utah, but to no avail. Once that RINO piece of rotting manure took office, he promptly tried to remove the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, from office by voting to impeach him in 2020. Now Romney is up for reelection in 2024, and he hasn’t yet announced that he’s going to seek a second term. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, continues to keep people guessing about whether he will run for reelection next year.
An antagonist of former President Donald Trump, Romney has expressed confidence he would be reelected if he ran, and polls suggest he’s correct, the Washington Examiner reported.
Those polls may not be entirely accurate. From what I have been hearing from people who live out there, Romney is not liked, especially after his backstabbing of President Trump and his screwing over his constituents in Utah. I have heard that the leadership of the Church Of Latter Day Saints, (Mormans), likes Romney and may be pushing his reelection. I’m not a resident of Utah nor am I a member of that church, so I can not say one way or the other.
Romney has the full support of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., as well as Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
“He’s an incredibly effective senator,” McConnell said last month, the Examiner reported.

Well, that’s a point against reelecting Romney. Brain Freeze Mitch McConnell is not liked by pretty much anyone in the Republican base, especially after he intentionally threw several Senatorial races in 2022 solely to keep his leadership position. (Majority or Minority leader, he didn’t care)
Still, Trump has been vocal about his desire to oust Romney from office and has encouraged others to get into the race. The GOP primary in Utah is not until next June.
Utah state House Speaker Brad Wilson launched an exploratory committee in April. He’s holding off on an announcement until Romney makes a decision.
I don’t know anything about Mr. Wilson other then his not Mittens Romney.
Romney has said he expects to announce his decision sometime this fall.
I wonder is he will be making his decision while traveling “incognito” again?

Wilson, who has secured the endorsements of nearly 50 state legislators for a U.S. Senate bid, has polled the most competitively against Romney among those considering a run. Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs, who launched his Senate bid in May, has the support of conservative commentator Mark Levin.
Again, I can’t speak to either of these two gentlemen other then neither of them is Mittens Romney.
Polls show Romney well ahead of both Wilson and Staggs, though a majority of Utah voters remain undecided.

I suspect that the only thing the voters are undecided on is if it should be Wilson or Skaggs who replaces the slimy carpet bagging TransRepublican weasel.
No Democrat has expressed an interest in opposing Romney, who filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission in April, allowing him to fund raise for a potential reelection bid without officially getting in the race.
Of course not. Why would the Democrats put someone up against Romney? He’s the best candidate the Democrats have.
The 2012 GOP presidential nominee has a large donor network and a $300 million fortune he’ll be able to tap into if and when he launches his bid for a second Senate term, the Examiner reported.
That might not help if the experience of Jeb! “Who to blow $100 million dollars and get 4 delegates” Bush is any example. What we need to see is how random people in Utah act when they meet Romney face to face? Are they establishment types of the Bush/Cheney wing of the party, who basically tongue bathe Mittens, or are they more like the general Republican base? Ultra MAGA Deplorable Trump supporters? We will need to leave this in the hands of the people of Utah. Hopefully, they’ve learned their lesson regarding the trustworthiness of Mittens Romney. (You can’t trust him)

I live out here in Utah and pray to God Romney is never elected in any capacity. Ideally, he would also lose any influence he may have and he should be held personally accountable for the dumpster fires he has created in both Utah and Massachusetts.
